Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Exe Almería Centro. Its biggest advantage is the excellent location, right in the heart of Almería and within easy walking distance of the city's main attractions, restaurants, shops, and cafés. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and the service was efficient. There were a few minor drawbacks. The room had a very small window and no balcony, so it lacked natural light and outdoor space. The swimming pool was also quite small, making it better for a quick dip than for spending the day relaxing.Despite these small shortcomings, the hotel offers good value for money thanks to its central location, cleanliness, and very helpful staff. I would recommend it for a short city break and would consider staying there again.

we had an excellent stay at the Exe Almeria Centro hotel very good breakfast buffet cold meats, cheese, pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice, hot selection (bacon scrambled eggs etc) toast , preserves, all replenished as they get low, the staff all go the extra mile for you and are very welcoming. Almeria itself has a quite a history and offers plenty of sights to see, we checked out the tourist information centre near the cathedral who gave us everything we wanted to know, Maria Louise was very helpfulexcellent english wonderful advise, a credit to her profession.Beware though, most things stop around midday until eight, but we found that a short nap in the hotel room set us up for the evening, all in all 10/100

Very disappointing and over priced

Disappointing for a supposedly 4 star Marriot.No upgrade for members and @17 per night for parking after wi fi doesn't work is somewhat of a joke!The room was unbearably hot and stuffy with uncomfortable creaking beds , noisy cleaners and horrible pillows that have seen better days.Wi fi didn't work and the TV didn't work!Parking is via valet parking and after you have no access whatsoever to your car.Its expected that you take your luggage out before your car is parked.Heaven forbid you forget anything!I don't recommend because of this because they offered nothing to compensate other than to come down to reception @7.30 to use the WiFi.Is that acceptable, really it's not!The bedroom wasn't comfortable, toiletries missing from the bathroom and house keeping banging on the door @9.30 after requesting a late check out was poor practice.The staff at reception were poorly trained giving no information on how to access the room on the 5th floor on check in& watching us struggle with bags from the lift by reception which doesn't take you to floor 5!I don't recommend this hotel and there are many more close by who do offer the same experience ie close to the historical centre then this one.Book elsewhere.

Booked this hotel due to central location. Upgraded to room 232 Large room with both shower and bath. Equipped with expresso machine and complimentary capsules. Parking on site with underground lift. Friendly staff and clean throughout. Would recommend this hotel

Pick up from airport great thats were it ends. Nobody showed us round, told room 1st floor.. Here to house view told no parking available first week the sign went up €17.00 per day. Pool shut permanently on 3rd week not advised and no signs explaining. Room bedding changed and towels changed on request but the cleaning diwn on room leaves a lot to be desired. Dusted ourselves. Not recommended at all.
