    I hated my 3 nights stay at this hotel. Everything was a struggle. Toiletries and loo roll for the first 2 days have not been replenished; I had to go and fetch them in the toilet down near the spa. The TV was not synchronised with the remote, eventually was changed and worked, the safe was not working, the room was dark and uncomfortable with a monstruosity for a headboard. No kettle in the room. Breakfast was already scarse and if you don’t eat anything with sugar added nor process meat, was very little left. The pool and all outdoor area extremely unkempt, chairs covered with birds poo, stained sun loungers, no paddings nor a towel on sight. Should not be advertised at this time of the year if not maintained and customers are unable to use it. I cannot believe this is a 4 stars hotel.One of the lady at reception stunk of cigarettes smoke; very unpleasant when she came to look into the issue with the TV and left a trail of smell behind. Catalina on the other end was very informative.

    The rooms are located around a morish styled area. The swimming pool is also within the walls and a great place to relax. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast is really a treat! The dinner was really nice. What else do you want?

    I was able to experience 8 beautiful quiet days, it is a pity that the last 2 nights the neighbors were very noisy by watching TV until 3 a.m., that was less, but that is the responsibility of the travelers who stayed there, not of the owner or staff. Highly recommended for a quiet holiday, not a luxury but ideal for exploring all regions of Almeria, car is recommended. Thank you to the staff who also do their best to speak English

    We arrived at this 'pet friendly' hotel to be told that it was an additional 6 euros a night for our dog but that we would only have to pay for one night of our two night stay. We had a very average dinner that night. The main courses were tiny, l had sirloin steak which was less than half a steak and wasn't asked how I would like it cooked. My husband had the 'pariliada' which appeared to be a single small pork chop cut into pieces. Breakfast next morning was even worse. We asked what we could have for the continental breakfast and were told toast coffee and juice. When we went for a second piece of toast we were sharply told 'one toast only'! The coffee was nescafe and the breakfast was 6 euros each. That night we ate at the lovely Oro y Luz next door and the next day had a great breakfast in Rodalquilar for 5 euros for the two of us. On check out we were charged 12 euros for the dog, maybe to make up for the toast!

    Exotic Comfort For Walking Holiday

    A few women friends and I stayed here last October and we thoroughly enjoyed our week's holiday. The rooms have character and style, beds are comfy and it is truly quiet. Set in stunning landscape between volcanic hills, white sandy beaches and blue seas the architecture of the hotel is sensitively designed to suit its environment. The staff are super friendly, service at dinner excellent and the food fresh, imaginative and light. We have just booked another stay in March to experience the fabulous spring colours and blossoms and can't wait!
