Location

The hotel is located in natural surroundings, in a valley overlooking Almeria Bay at the foot of the Sierra de Gador mountain range and in the heart of La Envia Golf Course in Vicar, Almeria. The beach is 5 km away, the railway station is about 10 minutes away and the airport about 15 minutes from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 127 rooms, including 3 junior suites, suites and 123 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service on request, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 7 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. Other amenities available include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex includes both indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee). A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. The wide range of activities offered at the hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, crazy golf, golf and horse riding. The water sports offered include windsurfing. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including yoga, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, a gym. A range of wellness facilities, such as a spa, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and hydrotherapy treatments, are offered at the hotel. For a fee, guests can also take advantage of a sauna and massage treatments. An entertainment programme and a kids' club round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.

    Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel, however there are pros and cons that need to be considered: Pros:- Clean- Large rooms with big beds- Golf course on site - Friendly staff- Nice looking hotel - Spa on site is excellent - Great plentiful breakfast - Room service with some 24h dishes Cons:- Outdoor pool only open on weekends and freezing- Out of the way so costs a fortune in taxis - Had to pay for two taxis to the airport at end of our trip as a large one won’t come out The golf course itself has some exciting holes and greens are in great condition, however the condition of the rest of the course such as the paths is not well maintained. There is also a restaurant by the golf course however they only serve proper meals between 1pm and 4pm, there is limited tapas outside of this. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant other than breakfast as we did not like the menu.     Just returned from a 5 night stay at La Envia Spa and golf. We were a party of 30 friends and family celebrating a 70th birthday Mar Martin Luque I’m head office put a package together for me. Fabulous hotel, great food and the staff went out of their way to ensure we all had a great time. The guys played golf and we all used the Spa which was fabulous. It’s a 10 minute drive into the closest town or approx €12 by taxi. I would thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay again.     This hotel represents excellent value for money - 65 Euro for 2 with breakfast! Good pool service and well priced drinks and food. At this price point don’t expect a true 5 star experience and you won’t be disappointed. Also the adjacent golf course looked amazing.     This hotel is wonderful. Big, classy, fantastic staff and underground parking and not expensive. All toiletries supplied in a fantastic bathroom.Under 90euro for a double room with breakfast.     Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, massive bathroom , large terrace, comfy (huge!!) beds, good views, good selection at breakfast, very reasonable bar prices ( drinks, cocktails and food).
