  Nice hotel in a super location not far from the beach

  Stayed just the 1 night on my travels in the area and found the Hotel Senderos to be very nice. It's clean and located minutes from the lovely sandy beach of Agua Amarga.The rooms are a little expensive but considering there is not much else in the area and it's a long drive from anywhere else you just have to accept it, most other people do, my 1 night stay cost €150.Checking was quick once the passport copies and forms were signed I was handed the keys to the room. There is paid parking but there is also plenty of free parking on the street so unless it's high season you should be okay.The room was a good size simply decorated but it was stylish . The bed was enormous , very comfortable and clean. There was a fridge with a complimentary bottle (big) of water and a few treats which was a nice touch. The patio door opened on a balcony which had a table and chairs and views of nearby houses - no sea view - you need for walk for 2/3 minutes !The bathroom had a long tub and separate shower cubicle. There was plenty of counter space by the sink for your toiletries and wash bag. There was a TV not that I used it and the free wifi worked very well on all my devices.Breakfast was included in the rate and mostly cold cuts , cheese , fruits and bread rolls which you could toast. Nice selection of fruit juices and pasties. Coffee was freshly made in the kitchen for you. The homemade tasting tortilla was delicious but it needed some tomatoes to accompany it. The breakfast offering could have been slight better considering how much you are paying for the room.There was both an outdoor and indoor pool, neither were large but they were clean and well maintained. You could also borrow some beach towels and umbrellas free of charge. The staff were all helpful, friendly and cheerful. The only downside was there the wear and tear by the fridge door and by the shower cubicle door in the bathroom which could have easily been remedied and made look good as it spoiled the look of the room otherwise everything was perfect.

  A weekend visit to explore around the area of Cabo de Gata. Thoroughly enjoyed discovering this stunning area.The hotel was an extremely friendly and comfortable base and Agua Amarga itself is also nice with some lovely places of the national park within easy reach.Thank you to the hotel for a lovely couple of days away.

  Stylish, modern and very comfortable

  This stylish clean modern hotel is perfect in every respect. The rooms are spacious comfortable and modern with tea and coffee making facilities. You can also pop to the comfortable lounge and make a yourself a coffee in their DeLonghi bean to cup machine and help yourself to a pastry too. The staff are friendly and helpful; there are two small pools, inside and out, and space to relax. Just about everything has been thought of in this lovely hotel - whoever owns it, really thought through how to satisfy their customers. Well done Senderos, we will definitely return.

  Absolutely lovely little hotel

  The owners/managers of this hotel were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. We loved the bright and airy room, which was spotlessly clean and quiet at night. The bed and bedding were super comfortable; towels soft and fluffy. Breakfast was exceptional, and included cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast with a wide choice of toppings, fresh juice and delicious coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

  We stayed for one night and enjoyed it. The room was very comfortable and it’s a beautiful little village. The beds were comfortable, room was clean and our room had a little patio. It was a good value for the price. Free parking across the street. The included breakfast was decent.Only thing is that they don’t have someone continuously at the front desk so we had to ring the bell and wait a few minutes for him to get there for us to check in. He rushed over though so it wasn’t a big deal.
