Location

This campsite is nestled in the bay of Los Escullos, in the heart of the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park, a biosphere nature reserve. The sandy Playa del Arco beach is only 600 m away and there are many other beaches in the surrounding area for guests to explore. The nearest link to the public transport network is 2 km away in La Isleta del Moro (bus). San Jose is 7 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 53 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The bungalow complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a childcare service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service (for a fee). Bicycle storage is also available for a fee. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs. 2 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a double bed. Separate bedrooms are available. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. A telephone, a TV, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. A hot tub invites guests to soothe their muscles, and a poolside snack bar will take care of any hungry bellies. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The complex offers a range of outdoor sport, including tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and fishing or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking and archery. Guests can take part in a comprehensive water sports programme, which includes snorkelling and aquafit, with motorboat rides, canoeing and diving available for a fee. The complex offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, callisthenics, aerobics and handball or, for a fee, billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa, a steam bath and massage treatments. Subject to charge: a sauna. An entertainment programme for adults and children ensures that guests have plenty to see and do during their stay.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast, lunch and dinner tempt guests with a wide range of dishes. Diet meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and picnics are available. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Basic and simplistic bungalow.

    The bungalow (17) was small-ish, but decent. The only point of criticism is the lack of outlets, especially in the bedrooms. We had to unplug the coffee maker, the oven and the TV to be able to charge our devices simultaneously.     Pure Bliss!

    We came here to stay for just 2 nights and have decided to stay 2 months! It is heaven on earth. The place is immaculate, the staff are very friendly and helpful the facilities are wonderful. Gym, Sauna, Library, Supermarket, Bar, Walks. We have a campervan and stayed on a pitch there but decided to take a bungalow for the rest of our stay. The beach is a 20 mins walk.     Had a nice quiet stay for two weeks. Together with a local guide traveled through the area and enjoyed historycal archaeology sites. Weather was amazing sunny the day cool the night , we had to wear a jumper.     Great atmosphere

    While we didn’t stay here (we have a house in nearby San Jose), we did visit camping friends here on a few winter evenings (quiz night, music night with fish & chips) and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.     First time to a camping with friends very good experience nice staff clean, lot's of hot hot water AC good restaurants and shops will do this Next time 10"10 in summer the pool will be open but it looks good.
