  Great relaxing place

  28 Sept 2026

So we were looking to find a hotel that was relaxed and chilled and we found it.Very clean inside and out. People say rooms dated? Glass sliding doors and a modern bathroom isn't dated at all. Im guessing people staying at ritz normally!.Staff brilliant and speak perfect English although I speak Spanish so this wasn't an issue. Food excellent and if not all inclusive food and drinks very reasonable.Atmosphere excellent and background music is very Buddha lounge chill out which is much better than beat box around pool.Only downside is its a little off beaten track to any shops or supermarkets. Good 20 mins brisket walk to one. And not near any bars or restaurants if you wish to venture out.3 min walk to beach.Tyring to hire a car or scooter was impossible and never saw a taxi once .But if your looking to chill, not go anywhere then this is the place 100%.We will be back for sure. Ioritz Irabien, Director General at ALEGRIA Palacio Mojacar, responded to this review Good morning mt347Thank you for choosing our hotel for a relaxing getaway and for sharing such thoughtful feedback. Lovely short break in Almeria

  19 Sept 2026

I have just returned from this hotel after a 5 night break with my husband and 19 year old son. This is the first time we have stayed in a adults only hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quite, mainly couples of all ages. We had a standard room which a decent size bathroom. Hotel is very clean and maintained well. The staff are so polite and helpful. Food and drinks were good. We visited the old town one evening and had a lovely meal while watching the sunset. The area outside the hotel is remote nothing much to see and do. You can walk into Garrucha along the seafront. We did use the spa for 15 euros, i had a lovely massage. I would definately return to this hotel and would like to book the club room next time. There are really no negatives.
