  “If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. This was one of the most disappointing and pathetic experiences we have ever had. We chose to stay at this hotel during our wedding week specifically because we wanted to take a few beautiful photos there after our ceremony and create special memories from one of the most important days of our lives.Instead of kindness or understanding, the staff literally started chasing us out while we were taking photos, treating us as if we were unwanted intruders rather than paying guests who chose this hotel for such a meaningful occasion. The attitude was cold, rude, and completely lacking any basic human decency or professionalism.What hurts the most is that our wedding day mood was completely ruined because of the way we were treated. A hotel is supposed to represent hospitality, but this place clearly has no understanding of what hospitality actually means. The lack of empathy toward newlyweds on their wedding day is honestly shocking and embarrassing.Rather than leaving with beautiful memories, we left feeling upset, disrespected, and humiliated. This hotel turned what should have been a happy and emotional moment into a stressful and bitter experience that we will unfortunately never forget.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. If you want to feel welcomed, respected, and treated like a valued guest — stay as far away from this place as possible.”

  Nice golf course with good practice facilities . Hotel was clean and spacious however it was really irritating in a 4* to have to pay a daily rate for the use of the room safe which is advertised as a facility of the room . The rooms have kettles which is great and tea bags but no coffee sachet or milk . Really disappointing .. other bits like paying for towels in the spa plus the staff who seemed so off hand and un friendly mean I would not wish to return sadly .If you really wants the income form little things like the safe just add a small sum onto the room rate - much less irritating!

  Went for spa session facilities were cold water in pools was cold steam room you could smell drains only good thing about this was the sauna. Very disappointed given all the hype about the resort.

  have visited many golf resorts in Spain, Portugal and Turkey, and I stayed at Valle del Este in late March 2017 and again in January 2026. Unfortunately, very little has improved since my last visit.The golf course is the highlight of the resort. It is interesting and challenging, generally in good condition, and enjoyable to play. The greens have a decent speed, but they are quite uneven and clearly need rolling. Still, overall it is a fun and solid course.The 19th hole restaurant offers a good selection of lunch dishes at fair prices and is perfectly fine for a casual meal after golf.The hotel, however, feels tired and outdated. The rooms are in serious need of renovation, and it is disappointing to see that nothing has really been upgraded since 2017.The biggest weakness of the resort is the food. Breakfast and especially dinner are well below the standard you would expect from a golf resort. The dinner buffet is uninspired, with cheap fish and meat, very little variety of salads and vegetables, and far too much deep-fried food. The bread is clearly left over from the morning and completely dry. Compared to other golf resorts I have stayed at, the quality is very poor.The staff are generally friendly and service-minded, but unfortunately this cannot make up for the low food quality and the worn-down hotel.Overall, Valle del Este still has a good and enjoyable golf course, but the hotel and especially the catering are in need of major improvement before this can be considered a proper golf resort experience again.

  For everyone suffering food allergy’s: be warned NOT to visit this resort! They do not serious take care of food safety!

  Despite several contacts with reservation department, reception desk and chef restaurant this resort has shown to be UNABLE to take care of food safety, especially when you suffer for example Celiac - Glutenallery. Staff and employees do not handle very well regarding this subject. Allergy signs are often incorrect meaning you could take food assuming its suitable in the context of your allergy. In the end resulting in eating food that can be fatal for your health and causing your death.Despite several remarks before and during our stay we feel they try to downplay the situation and do not take food safety seriously.When we finally took pictures of the incorrect allergq signs they hurried to remove that information instantly.Stay safe in case you suffer any food allergy and do not book your stay here.Furthermore: overall we would rate our total experience at Valle del Este with 5 out of 10.Golf: 9, good proshop staff, well maintaned course, challenging golf.Hotel: 6, rooms not kept very clean, not a very nice atmosphere in the hotel common areasRestaurant, halfboard: 4 due to poor handling food safety and just ‘average’ food quality.Reception: 4, they show they do not really care whatever you bring to their attention. Level of really customer friendly interaction is very low and level of any proactive communication upon arrival and departure is close to zero.To our understanding: lots of things mentioned could easily be improved, probably starting at management level and with an open mind to make the stay of every customer positively unforgettable. AGAIN: food allergy? Avoid this ‘resort’!
