  Overrated basic hotel … $$$&

  Old hotel needing some attention on many levels. Not a 4 star by anyone’s standards 2-3 if you’re lucky. Room was so basic, quite appalling for the cost. Great and interesting history . Great location but that’s it. Breakfast was appalling. Hot food inedible. Coffee disgraceful. Yogurt for brekkie ! Omg never again.

  This hotel is very well located but because of the location we got no sleep because of the noise. It was Saturday night so maybe that didn’t help. There was no working air conditioning and it was very hot in the room but too noisy outside to sleep with the windows open.There was no safe or kettle in the room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was over the bath . Breakfast was buffet style. No boiling water for tea but enough food choices.There are steps to be negotiated with luggage and very small lifts.

  Located close to old town

  Recently stayed here for a few days. Location is fantastic as it is only a few minutes walk to the old town. However, if travelling by train/bus, it’s about 15 mins walk (with luggage). I appreciate and am grateful that they let us check in early (before midday). My room key card didn’t work the next day so had to get it renewed daily which was a pain (not with my travel companions key card who had a different room though!). There were a few steps into hotel reception and a few steps again to get elevator access- I think they should really have a ramp. Room is otherwise clean but a little dated. I don’t like that the hair dryer was attached to the bathroom wall and put in a corner where it’s difficult to access as the bathroom is fairly compact. Otherwise overall a pleasant stay.

  Perfect for a short stay while visiting Oviedo - Close to everything and nice 4 star hotel.

  This hotel is located close to everything. There is a supermarket nearby, there are plenty of bars & restaurants nearby too. For me it was important to have the car parked somewhere nearby which was possible at a discounted price arranged by the hotel. The parking is located at about 2 minutes walking. We arrived late at night, outside business check in is possible. When checking out we got a free bottle of water, nice gift, thank you. Price/quality is 10/10 for this. Staff is friendly. Room is clean, clean towels and sheets and toiletries available. There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

  Not really sure how they are working out the star system in Spain but this isn't 4* standard. It's an old hotel and in the room the door fell off the the mini bar, shower squirts all over the bathroom, toilet constantly flushes.I contacted the hotel in advance to Che k all services were open due to covid 19 and were advised they were. Arrived and bar closed, restaurant closed!Staff great on reception though and great location
