  Nice hotel, good price, but away from commercial areas

  The hotel is located outside the old city, in an area that has no commercial activities (thus no cafes, no restaurants, no shops nearby). The room was ok, but a bit narrow (it had a desk, but you didn't have space to put the chair on it ...). Also, you could barely approach the toilet due to lack of space inside the bathroom (see the photos). As it was cheap, I cannot complain too much.WiFi connection had a regular speed. There were available wall sockets to plug your charging devices. The windows would open. The room was clean.Front-desk staff wasn't very friendly, and would hide behind the PC monitor so that you wouldn't see them (and so, not asking questions I presume!). But I had no problem with check-in or check-out.

  Vintage style charm in great location

  I loved the decor of the room which is vintage and not cheap modern box hotel! Real wood furniture with interesting fabric bedspread and curtains. The rooms have lovely large windows and comfortable beds. The hotel is in a great location, 5 minute walk to center of town and easy to depart by car for airport or anywhere out of town. They also have a parking garage for a fee, but I found free street parking. The front desk and staff are all very helpful and there is a breakfast buffet for a small fee. I stayed for 4 nights and would stay there again. Good value.

  Exploring city, see and countryside

  Hotel perfectly placed to explore this city. We got his in from airport then taxi to Hotel. Everything here is very reasonable compared to rest of Spain and there are some very stylish wine bars etc within walking distance. We found Hotel breakfast to be perfectly fine. Yoghurt occasionally might be out only advice. The rooms are spotless and the staff very charming. We could change the language on the smart tv's to English. Slept very well for all 5 night's. Would return in a heartbeat.

  Ideally situated just five minutes walk from the cathedral, the hotel has its own car parking. The room we stayed in was very well equipped, had a lovely bathroom and was warm and welcoming. The continental breakfast was fine and good value. Recommended for a good value city break.

  Oh so poor

  Well after a really great visit to Santiago de Compostela I decided to visit Oviedo, such a shame such and disappointment.To start with is was raining, not a lot the Hotel could do about that but this Hotel had absolutely nothing in the way of food or drinks, no vending machine or snacks of any kind. The car park was secure but so small and a very bad hump at the opening which my car grounded on. I appreciate it was a cheap hotel but I am really not impressed. The room was very good, clean etc. I understand that breakfast will be available in the morning but I think we will just book out and find somewhere en route to Santander. Such a shame, still I guess you get what you pay for. May visit Oviedo another time but would not recommend this hotel at all. For once I have given a bad report and not a nice experience to end our holiday with.
