  Lack of staff to attend to dining rooms

  The hotel is simple and clean and although their staff are friendly and attentive they are very overwhelmed, lack of staff to attend properly. Food is not bad but breakfast is scarce.   Dismal treatment received, without solutions and without responding to emails.

  Beware of this hotel when booking.I want to highlight the dismal treatment received by this hotel, they are not up to a 4*.We had a non-refundable reservation but if you can change dates, because of unexpected work, children and distance (700km) it was impossible to go to our holiday.On several occasions via telephone and email, which were not answered (an embarrassment), we were not able to postpone the reservation to 2026, as for the previous reasons in 2025 it was impossible.It is regrettable that a hotel does not solve its customers and even worse that it does not respond to emails, so I can say that “empathy” neither know it and will never know it, since we gave enough time to give us a solution and the hotel could unlock said date / room.Cancel for free of course they didn't even think about it... any possible change of date depended on the hotel, what a price!!!In short, they have “kept” €400 for the jet, without responding and without showing their face.   The Cruz de la Victoria hotel does not recommend it to anyone

  Sr. Director hotel Cruz de la VictoriaI am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the food and beverage service offered during my recent stay at your hotel, from 08/06/2025 to 13/06/2025 room 210Unfortunately, the culinary experience was significantly deficient and did not meet the expectations that one would have of an establishment in its category. The quality of the food was very poor, presenting on several occasions insipid dishes, poorly cooked or with a sloppy presentation.More worrying was the extreme lack of variety in the menus offered. Each day, the choices were remarkably repetitive, making each meal a monotonous experienceI consider the gastronomic offer a fundamental pillar of the hotel experience, and in my case, it has been the most disappointing aspect of my visit.   Super recommended!! Impeccable rooms, varied breakfast and charming professionals. Very well connected, and place in the surroundings to park.   Very ample room with a lot of space if you travel with kids and very good price/quality ratio. I cannot give any opinion on the breakfast since we did not book it. Very helpful staff. Location is convenient close to both Oviedo and Gijón and views are nice. You have space around for parking even in August.
