  Good location, no air conditioning.

  Good location opposite the promenade and great views from the ninth floor breakfast room. HOWEVER no air conditioning throughout the entire hotel despite controls on the wall in the bedrooms. Not due to be repaired any time soon according to the hotel. (Previous reviewers have also mentioned this).Not acceptable for a supposedly 4 star hotel during hot weather.   Rather a 3 star than a 4 star hotel

  From me; 2 out of 5 is not the same as 2 out of 5 stars.I give this 2 out of 5 because I had expectations to a 4-star hotel, which it says on the internet.The hotel’s safe and AC did not work during our time at the hotel. The breakfast was not worth a 4 star as they were out of food and glasses much of the time.However, great location!   Not a disaster but rather disappointed

  For sure, this is not a 4* hotel. Room was nice with great views but soundproof was dreadful and we could hear the sound of TVs and people talking in adjascent rooms.Breakfast was average. Selection was limited and products were low quality. And no service at all.The best at this hotel was the woman on duty at front desk in the morning during the week end we stayed. She certainly knows what customer service is about. Many thanks again to her for such kindness and thoughtfulness.

  Good position for the sea view

  Booked in for one night in a sea view room in room 808, in general this is a pleasant room. However, the restaurant is on the next floor, and as the Spanish eat very late the noise of chairs being scraped along the floor and people walking around until 1am made sleeping difficult. So I wouldn’t recommend the 8th floor for your accommodation.   Lovely beach front hotel

  We visited this hotel for a family wedding in Gijon.We stayed in a family room with beach views (See photos for beach views).The hotel was clean and accommodated our family of four well with plenty of room. The beach views were wonderful!A lovely beach walk to the town centre- took approximately 20 mins. The room rate included a breakfast, with a good variety of choice.I would recommend this hotel as a good choice if staying in Gijon.
