  long time waiting at reception with young children, checkin was a bit too long.we booked 2 rooms only to be told these would be on different floors which we mentioned if was with children so this was really annoying and hoped for some considerationvery clean and comfortable beds

  Enjoyed my stay at this 3* hotel which had good features. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had nice variety with hot and cold options. Free minibar of bottled water was a nice touch. There is no car park, however free parking on the street and at a car park a few minutes walk away. Good connection on wifi. Would return if in the area

  My new "home" in Mieres

  This was my first stay here, but I will definitely be back (I have local friends). I had room 105, one of those with a curved window overlooking the street and park. I stayed six nights and had the included breakfast. My room was very comfortable, with a desk, comfy chair and table. It was very well-lit, with reading lamps on both sides of the bed as well as bedside lamps. One side also had a convenient electrical outlet with which to charge my phone. A convenient outlet is a wonderful thing! There were also outlets at the desk for my netbook. The shower was wonderful (it even had body jets and a footbath). It would have been nice to have a small fridge (the was a cabinet that could have held one), but there was one in the hall, where they provided cold water. Also, free wifi!The breakfast was a basic buffet of the usual breakfast items - cereal, yogurt, fruit, croissants and other breads, eggs, meat, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and coffee (which they happily fixed "Americano" for me). I would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring Asturias. They provided a lot of travel literature in the room, too.

  Average hotel in a bleak city

  We are on a trip through northern Spain and have been enjoying our stays at some nice hotel properties, generally away from the big cities. So we were disappointed when out travel service booked us at the del Camino. First of all, Mieres seems to be an industrial town. Not very pleasant to walk around in. But the hotel seems run down -- i.e. lots of traffic on the streets outside your window, no mini refrigerator in the room, very small TV screen, no coffee maker, minimal amenities in the bathroom, small rooms with no seating. After staying there, I would suggest looking elsewhere for a room.

  Unconspicuous outside, but impressive inside

  This is a very nice hotel with excellent standard, absolutely friendly and attentive service and a very nice breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable and calm and also the restaurant is recommendable. Access to all points of interest in Mieres is possible by footwalk. Wifi is for free and very fast.
