  Came for one night, stayed for three!

  I was only planning on staying one night, I ended up staying for three!My room was so comfortable and peaceful, and it had the most gorgeous view of the water and the castle. It is located near stunning beaches, lovely nature, and the incredible beauty of Northern Spain. I loved my stay here and I look forward to returning one day soon!

  Located with an advantage view point of the Ría de San Esteban. Beautiful surroundings, manicured gardens, playground for children’s, sauna and more. Small restaurant at location but with great taste and attention. Friendly and courteous staff.

  Fabulous hotel in a peaceful setting

  We absolutely loved this hotel decided to stay there at last minute because it’s only about a 15 minute drive from Asturias airport . It’s in a beautiful peaceful setting with fabulous views and lovely garden . Staff at reception so friendly and helpful . Hotel is very Spanish in style with a very comfortable feel. Public areas furnished in traditional style really comfortable. Rooms very spacious, large bed ,fabulous large bathroom really well equipped. We had dinner which was great value and really good at €30 each which included a lovely bottle of Rioja . There is a Spa here too which unfortunately we didn’t have time to sample . The hotel would be a great base for touring all the towns , villages and beaches in the region . Cudillero only about 20 mins drive , Saint Esteban about 10 mins drive . Our only regret was that we would have loved to stay for a week . We’ll definitely be back !!

  Rooms are adequate,no tea making facilities. Breakfast is served within the hotel but for dinner it’s a bit of a hike particularly in bad weather with some challenging steps to negotiate en route, food was good, wine rubbish. The staff were lovely and did their best with our poor Spanish.

  Night in the Palace

  Hotel Palacio de la Magdalena was the last stop of our bicycle holidays (El Camino and Asturias). Hotel seems to be quite remote located, but in fact it's very convenient if you have an early flight from Asturias Airport. Room was spacious as well as bathroom, top class hotel staff and OK service in spa. However Turkish bath didn't seem to work and by that I mean there was no steam inside and quite cold. Didn't dine and had no breakfast as we left early.
