    Dated furniture and decor.

    rating14 Dec 2025

Friendly staff throughout. Very clean, and well maintained. Rooms are very small. Furniture from the 60s. Breakfast was very basic. No ice, very cold room, too quiet , room temperature 16°c 61f heater not on until 18:30 hrs. Bar has not hours. Refrigerator in room doesn’t works. Only one photograph of the facility is properly the other two are beaches areas at least 400 meter from the hotel. Bathroom “smells”

Well located hotel to visit Oviedo and Gijon

    rating04 Aug 2024

We have stayed at this hotel from August 3 to 5, the hotel very well located to visit Oviedo and Gijón and by the sea with a very pleasant walk to the village of Candás, has free parking on the premises. The very old room lacks a renovation. We have been very hot being on the top floor and because of the situation and the high temperature, we had no conditioning or fan. To be well you had to be outside the hotel to be cool. Cleanliness mut well Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es. View originals.

Good hotel for a few days

    rating08 Aug 2023

A normal three-star hotel to spend a few days. To say something that I didn't like is that it doesn't have air conditioning in the rooms, and on the day of arrival it was incredibly hot in the room. Another thing that I didn't like is the little parking space, if you go a little late at night you may not have parking. The facilities themselves may be a little outdated, the room is opened with the usual iron key instead of having the typical card. As for the staff of 10 both at the reception and in the cafeteria and restaurant. About the food, I would say that the normal buffet breakfast has quite a variety but it does not have a cook who can make you a couple of fried eggs on the spot. I can't say about the food menu because we spent the days out, but for dinner you have a menu or combined dishes, the latter at a good price. Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.com. Nice atmosphere, a little out of town

    rating15 Oct 2017

This hotel is a little on the outskirts of Candas, there is the hotel itself and lots of chalet type bungalows, there is also a big play area for children and a cafe attached to the hotel. The atmosphere was great when we were here as our stay coincided with a big Citroen car convention, so it was very buzzing with lots of people milling around. Our room was 213 and was fine, overlooking the children’s play area and chalets. It’s a quick drive, 5 mins, from here into town for bars, restaurants etc. We were only here one night but would definitely stay again. The café next door does great coffee, our only criticism here is that the walls are a bit thin, we were woken by a man in the next room talking too loudly, to the point I had to bash on the wall to make him aware of it! There is free parking outside the hotel too. So overall great place for families especially staying in the chalets, nice staff and within short distance of Candas town centre.

    Stayed in the wooden chalets

    rating12 Jun 2016

Nice spacious room in this wooden cabin. No tea or coffee making, so bring your own!! Chalet got warm quicmkly, but we didn't need the air con, just opened the shutters. A bit noisy if you have loud neighbours, but we were there in June, so only had 1 night of neighbours noise. Hotel restaurant OK for evening meals, but breakfast not good.Be warned, very little English spoken in this region, but google translate saved the day!!
