  Nice rooms, great breakfast. Lovely communal lounges.No tea/coffee facilities offed in the room, which was disappointing.Location could not be bettered.Staff botched up my wake up call one morning, which was not great but fortunately not a disaster as I was not racing to catch a flight.

  Lovely hotel, inside the walls, just across from the cathedral.Good breakfast selection and guest lounges downstairs.Lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance. Good wifi, good breakfast.

  Scam Alert! Breakfast is 13 Euros, and no one tells you about it. Everything indicates that it's a free buffet. Then in the middle of breakfast, you get the bill, that also asks for a tip. After talking with the front desk, they offered 2 Euros off. In the end, I paid 44 Euros for 4 coffees, toast, and a pastry.Just know that you can buy a full breakfast around the hotel for no more than 4 Euros per person. In addition, the AC did not work, and the filter was discussing.Think twice before booking this hotel, and don't support their deceiving practices.

  Excellent Location, Frumpy, Outdated Decor

  We parked couple if blocks away in a nice underground parking garage I structure. It's a short walk for these sixty-year-olds, however, it's mostly uphill and cobblestones. The hotel, once the Bishop’s estate next to the cathedral at the center of town, could not be in a better location. The rooms and bathrooms are a generous size, with furniture from the sixties, painted white. If you are looking for an authentic experience and the simple, yet generous accommodations acceptable, it's perfect for the price. We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again.We had breakfast in the dining room one morning. It's pretty basic breakfast fare.

  The staff is rude and the AC doesn’t work. Terrible night sleep.

  This hotel is terrible. I’m writing this after midnight and it is 81 degrees in my room. There is no AC, even though theWebsite says there is. The desk clerk is a jerk, an absolutely rude fellow who made fun of us for asking for a fan. He was saying “This is Ávila” to explain why there is no AC, but it was over 80 degrees outside. He said he would change our room but every room would be hot if there is no AC! We have windows open trying to cool the room down, but the only thing that happens is that drunks pass by making loud noise. Please don’t stay here. If I could give this hotel negative stars I would. We take note of the incident and have spoken with the person who attended them so that it does not happen again. Already in the hotel by internal communication the next day we contacted you to make your stay more pleasant but it is seen that they sent the review during the first night. The hotel does have air conditioning and the normal thing in our city is not to activate it until the end of May due to climate change, we already have it operational and for future years we will activate it earlier.
