  Very surprised at the superior quality of this hotel. If it were in the UK, you would pay four times the room rate. We stayed in a superior king room, half board, and everything was perfect, with everything you would expect to find; a spa bath was a bonus. Everywhere throughout the hotel was so clean it sparkled. Dinner was served by professional and courteous staff, and there were many different options for breakfast. A high-end hotel at a great price. You get what you pay for.

  Convenient for the motorway

  A one night stay on the journey back up to Santander, so this hotel is very convenient, near to the motorway junction. Very clean, with big bedroom and bathroom. It is undergoing some renovation at the moment, so smells strongly of paint.There is a cinema complex across the road, giving 5 or 6 restaurants within 1 minute's walk.2 issues - the free cinema car park across the road says for patrons only - but doesn't make it clear that this hotel's guests can also park there, thus avoiding the underground carpark that costs €10 a day. Secondly, and this is not just this hotel - why do all outside swimming pools shut around the middle of September, despite the fact that the weather is still glorious ??

  Comfortable relaxing stay in Mérida .

  Beautiful hotel with a great pool and big rooms,definitely purchase breakfast and there are many restaurants just steps away from there front door,like less than 20ft!If you love Italian food than please go to the Italian restaurant and get the melon prosciutto salad a must.Carmen at the front desk is the heart and soul of there hospitality.The top floor rooms are very roomy but the lower floors have a view of the courtyard.

  A lot of food options,even a Carrefur behind the hotel

  This was an unplanned stop in Merida. What a beautiful city without the crowds. The hotel front desk agents were very nice. The buffet breakfast is good enough. We took a taxi to the Teatro Romano, about 8 Euros and walked to Templo de Diana. From there, down to the Alcazaba. Return taxi to the hotel was 6 Euros. This was a good location in Merida, outside the city centre. Not within walking distance to town/sites. Everything was okay, as expected for a hotel in this category. The front desk area is the only ugly, outdated part of the hotel. I was really worried when I saw that at check-in.

  I can’t agree with the last review. This is our fourth visit and we think it’s extremely good. Parking easy, rooms spotless and staff very pleasant indeed. Lots of restaurants nearby if you don’t want to eat in. Breakfast are always delicious with lots of choice. Highly recommend. We will return.
