A shame about the anti social behaviour

This was our second stay at this parador. We had a superior room overlooking the front square. The room was comfortable, with the usual dark Spanish furniture, but it wss nice and cool away from the heat outside. The bathroom needs an update. The only thing that marred the stay was some antisocial behaviour by some youths who were shouting loudly and drinking and riding around thc square on bikes and scooters. This went on until 2 a.m.so no sleep was had.if this is not sorted it will affect the parador's business.i should think some permanent police intervention is needed.Certainly I didnt feel safe in case they came into the parador.The night staff said they shut the doors. What a beautiful palace

This is one of the most stunning places to stay. Absolutely fabulous former palace of the Dukes of Feria. Stunning entrance, immense wood panelled ceilings, and if you are lucky enough to get a 3rd floor balcony room, your room will open onto both the inner courtyard and a huge balcony overlooking the square and the town. Beautiful Parador

We loved this parador. We booked their suite for our anniversary and were very impressed. We had our own private and very large balcony facing the front of the castle. The room was very comfortable and very clean. It was very close to the center of the town where they had some restaurants and shops. We also got to see a religious procession one night.We enjoyed the breakfast everyday. They had good selections and a gentleman that was always coming around to ask if we needed anything else. We also had drinks one night at their bar, which was okay, but unfortunately it was just a small place with no views and a bit underwhelming.We were not able to tour the castle because they said that they only do it on Sunday at a specific time. We had plans to visit a nearby town so we had to pass on this.They have parking right in front that you pay them daily. They give a ticket to put in the front of your dashboard, because if not, you will get a ticket. But we never had a problem finding a space.
