I stayed here as I drove back to the UK from a holiday in Portugal. It was high thirties in the shade and the hotel was a welcome oasis of cool rooms, an airy lobby/bar area made for a relaxing aperitif before I retired up to my air-con and the luxury of room service which was pretty good food and well-priced. Nice location, OK hotel because of lack of maintenance.

The hotel is in a nice location, close to the river, and the staff were very friendly. My disappointment is with the room. It's clean but really needs an upgrade, especially the bathroom, which is old and damaged. I never understand why hotels let this happen. Close one of two rooms for one or two nights, continue to do that throughout the year and your hotel will always looks fresh. Overall service was excellent

Overall service was excellent, room was clean and ok view. Mattress was too soft, though I understand that is personal preference. Bed frame has wheels and no way to lock, when sitting down the frame would move. Breakfast period was generous for a weekend, good options of bread and sweet cakes. Savoury items were good, but found that food like mushrooms were always missing. Overall good breakfast.No kettle in the room, had to purchase tea which I found overpriced. Mini bar well stocked, but did not make use of it. Good hotel near the best places

Excellent hotel. Room is great with a big bathroom. The negative point is the mattress on my daughter's bed, which was very bad.The hotel is near of the center historical and the best places in Badajoz (including restaurants and El Corte Inglez). You can visit them just walking couple of minutes. It's a very pleasant stay for me and my wife, the room is clean and big, the bed is comfatable, the breakfast has various of choices and very tasty, the staffs are very friendly. And very good location. Easy to park outside for free. Air conditioning works very well.
