  No reception present in the property and no one answers phones.

  No one was in the reception during the time that they were mentioned in the information and no one was answering the phone as well. Because of that we had problem for the check-in (2 hours waste of our time). Also our room was not soundproof like they said in the Room Amenities and the room is next to an autobahn, so because of that it was hard to sleep during the night. The internet connection is unstable and sometimes we could not even open a simple page.

  My Bad Experience in Abarcó Apartments

  The apartment was in bad conditions, has poor quality. I don’t recommend to anyone. I will never back to this place. This kind of apartment, never be qualified as tourist apartments.   Perfect accommodation for those, who want to visit Barcelona and surroundings. It’s very easy, fast and cheap to reach the apartments by train and metro from the airport. 600 m from the metro station. Big supermarket just near. Very friendly personal on the reception. The apartments are well equipped. Good cleaning. Comfortable beds, warm blankets.

  We initially thought we were staying in Acacia in Catalunya but due to a scheduling problem, we were moved to Abarco. At first, we weren't pleased because it is located about 13 miles from Barcelona city center but once we got settled in, we loved it! The front desk people have several jobs so they are frequently away but leave notes where to find them. Our apartment and the entire building was immaculately clean and inviting. Our towels and sheets were so white and the apartment so perfect, we got the impression that we were the first people to stay in it. It's a modern, almost modular style with sliding doors on the bathroom & bedroom. Nice little kitchen, just perfect for making a meal; no oven but a two-burner stove, microwave & mini fridge. The metro station is a few minutes walk away so we could get into Catalunya in about 30 minutes and there is a wonderful grocery market right down the street. We had gin & tonics & appetizers in the evenings at the outside cafe next door. We loved staying here...it was reasonable and wonderful. ONLY ONE COMPLAINT (not towards this apartment specifically) - we had limited & spotty internet when we booked from Germany and the website the company uses will change the dates you enter to next available dates and it's greyed-out so in our haste, we didn't notice it. So confirm when you book that you are getting the dates you initially entered.

  The hotel is situated around 20 minutes from Barcelona central, a very cheap metro ride away & a 10 minute walk from the metro stop. The apartment was just what we wanted, a very clean, private, quiet and relaxing accommodation. Everything we needed was in the apartment, even a razor with shaving foam as we had only took hand luggage! Check in was great, there was a leaflet with all the information we needed in our room also & a 24hr emergency number. We didn't really go looking around the town that we were in as we were always out catching metros, but the place was lovely!Would highly recommend you visiting! It does say when you book the apartment that they require a £150 deposit, I was never asked for this at check-in. The only downfall was that the pillows were too thin, you could however ask for more!
