    Room was great! Location is also ideal. But I booked via booking.com and it said the tax is included but they charged me a city tax at the checkin. All my other bookings indicated I am to pay it at the checkin but not this one. Also I don’t have the option to leave a review in booking.com so I’m leaving my comments here.     Well worth the stay

    Good location even though outside the main city. Metro lines 2& 5 close by. Minimart virtually across the street. Individually controlled AC. (Can change from heat to cool cycle at will, unlike many other hotels in Portugal/Spain! ) Black tea & green tea in the room but no milk/creamer. Breakfast was good. Juicer to squeeze your own orange juice - so actually fresh!     No flexibility at all – very disappointing experience

    I had a very disappointing experience with Abba Sants Hotel in Barcelona.I made a reservation for April 13–16, 2026. Unfortunately, my international flight was changed by the airline for operational reasons, making it impossible for me to arrive on the booked dates.I immediately contacted the hotel, provided all supporting documents, and requested a cancellation without penalty. Despite this being a situation completely خارج my control, the hotel refused any flexibility, strictly applying a non-refundable policy.I also tried to resolve the issue through Azul Viajes, but the hotel maintained the charge.This lack of flexibility and consideration is very disappointing, especially in a situation caused by an airline schedule change. I expected a more reasonable and customer-oriented approach.I am currently escalating this case to consumer protection authorities in Spain.I would not recommend this hotel based on how they handle situations beyond the customer’s control.     Good value for money hotel, friendly staff, good facilities and very handy for Barcelona Sants station. Metro and restaurants nearby. Room was a good size and had its own terrace to see out over the city. Highly recommended, especially if traveling onward by train.
