Location

This hotel is located on the edge of the city between the airport and the exhibition centre. Plaça d'Espanya is only two underground stations from the hotel. Countless shopping venues, shops, bars and restaurants are 300 m from the hotel. Public transport links are located just 400 m away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 102 non-smoking rooms located in two 9-storey buildings with lifts. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     Unsafe hotel

    This is not a safe hotel for American guests. In a small crowded lobby we set our bags next to the security guard while checking in. The manager reviewed the video and informed us it was stolen. Their security guard is worthless. Manager was rude and we felt very unsafe here.

    Seriously wonderful hotel and staff. Stayed here 3 nights Pre-cruise. Felt welcome from moment we arrived. Hotel was completely re-done about 3 years ago. One of Marriott’s top rated. Our room very comfortable and stylish as is the hotel. The Breakfast buffet an amazing offer at 18€. Truly delicious and well prepared. The hotel also has 24 hour food. We had a lovely dinner here too. Lots of tasty restaurants nearby that staff suggest were great value too. Each offers a Plato del Dia with a menu thatdiffers daily and includes 3 courses for around 16€. What puts this hotel at the top of our list are the mature, caring and truly amazing staff. Front desk folks, great bar and restaurant staff, and room folks were all friendly. Everything an easy cab ride away. Lovely neighborhood. Seriously great stay. No reservations about recommending. We loved it. Would happily return.

    Reasonably priced hotel. Clean and relatively new. Not within walking distance of the main attractions, but it is across the street from a very nice 3 level indoor mall with a food court. Easy 10 min, $15 Uber ride to anywhere downtown. Service was very good, English speaking and accommodating. Small amply stocked bar. Decent buffet breakfast, not included with the room or walk across the street to Starbucks at the mall. My main negatives were the bedding was more economy level and not up to Marriott standards. Also, the bathroom door was an annoying glass door with no door knob, so you couldn’t keep it closed.

    Excellent stay!Our 4th stay when we are in Barcelona! Location and stff for us is excellent.The Hotel recently renovated and looks fresh and inviting. Really good, relaxing breakfast is available. Freindly safe, and comfortable. Major mall is a 5 mins walk away! Big plus. Our only choice going forward in Barcelona.
