  Good hotel to stay in Barcelona

  This is a nice hotel little bit distanced from downtown but in a quiet neighbourhood. Some 600m from metro station but close to few good shopping places such as Il Corte Inglés. My room was like a little studio with kitchen, living room area, bedroom and big bathroom. The staff is very kind and helpful if you need it. Breakfasts buffet offers something for everyone. I stayed there only for two nights bit it was nice and pleasant.

  If there is hell on the earth, this is the place

  I booked a suite with kitchenette, including stove, mini-fridge, and dishwasher. On arrival, we found that none of the appliances were in the room. The fridge was leaking and in a couple of hours it was dead. They found a Jurassic microwave to replace the stove. The air conditioning did not work, with an outside temperature of 28 degrees celsius. I was told that during the transitional season they do not provide air conditioning! The windows were not soundproof at all, to the point that from the 7th floor we could hear all the traffic from the street. The room was dirty, and the hotel had a carpet that should have been replaced years ago. The staff are trained to lie, and after a 9-hour flight, although exhausted, we decided to leave the hotel. If there is hell on the earth, this is the place.   Ac did not work. Not up to Marriot standards

  I would not recommend this hotel if you want working ac. The first room I was given the av did not work and it felt very warm. The staff then moved me to another room several doors down and that av also didn’t work. The next day I asked to be moved and they moved me to a upgraded room in which the av cooled a little. I had to open the windows as the room became warmer throughout the stay. The staff was not helpful. If ac us important to you do not stay at this hotel.   Practical Comfort for a City Break

  Located in a peaceful residential area of Barcelona, this hotel offers a calm and refined alternative to the city’s lively center. We stayed in one of the suites, which turned out to be an excellent choice for a family visit. The apartment was spacious, beautifully designed and fully equipped, providing everything we needed — even thoughtful amenities for our baby, from a comfortable crib to quality toiletries.The staff were consistently warm and attentive, making every request feel effortless. A special mention goes to the housekeeping ladies, whose precision , cleanness, and care were truly exceptional. Their quiet professionalism and attention to detail created a sense of comfort that elevated the entire stay.Breakfast was good and varied enough for a pleasant start to the day, though not the highlight of the experience. Overall, the hotel offers a genuine balance between comfort, practicality and peace. The price corresponds well to the value, making it a smart and trustworthy choice for families and frequent travelers who appreciate serenity, space and sincerity.

  Comfortable but some disappointments

  The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was nice, the hotel overall had a good appearance but I wouldn’t return or recommend it to a friend due to some unexpected disappointments. We booked a king size room and were told on arrival that only twin sized rooms were available so we couldn’t be “upgraded”. We were on our first trip away without the children and this news was very disappointing. I said this on our check out and the lady seemed very surprised, again saying we couldn’t “be upgraded”. It was a case of not being given what we had booked, not needing an upgrade. The finish of the bathroom wasn’t great, the woodwork around the shower was cracked and the glass sink had damage to it. Photos of these attached to the review. Photos of the rooms on the website are otherwise accurate so did not take any.
