This city apartment complex is located in the gothic district at the heart of Barcelona, full of narrow, winding streets. It is in the middle of the old town, which contains a considerable number of Barcelona's most famous attractions and is renowned for its great variety of charming restaurants, offering quality tapas, Mediterranean cuisine, and the best seafood in town. There are also plenty of bars with terraces, which lend El Born its modern, artistic and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Just a few streets away there are galleries, artist's studios, designer shops and museums. The hotel itself is located just a short walk from Barcelona Cathedral. The closest metro station is Jaume I, which is only 5 minutes away. Within 500 m of the hotel guests will also find Estación del Norte bus station and Estación de Francia railway station, as well as Barceloneta beach, Las Ramblas, shopping options at the Corte Ingles, the city's port and the Picasso Museum. The ski resort of La Molina is just 2 hours away by car and Barcelona International Airport is approximately 20 km from the hotel.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 5 apartments, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     A very compact 'apartment '! Not much storage for clothes. Not very clean and in need of some repairs! The electric socket in the bathroom was loose. Doorframe in the bathroom was also coming away. Infact, not many sockets with which to charge phones and use hair appliances, which in this day an age is an essential. The shower was not very powerful but hot. We were in apartment 5. The balcony was filled with aircon unit in most of the space along with many cigarettes butt's- we are non smokers! Location good with some lovely bars and restaurants nearby. Bus stops close by too.

    Terrible experience! The app to enter the building and the apartment did not work. There is no reception, everything should be automated. But the lift did not worked and in the stairs the light was not working (I used my mobile to have the light in the stairs). No app and no pin worked, I was obliged to call the help service and they opened the door remotely. The price was too high for such a bad service. A lot of bad feedback, take information before reserve a room. A lot of other guest had same experience I had, it happened for them a long time ago, so it was not bad luck, this is the same issue never solved. Very bad service

    We have stayed at the Born Damas once before and just like last time we hade a perfect stay. The best location in Barcelona, cosy apartment and super helpfull staff. Thank you and see you next time :)

    This apart-hotel really is in the best location, so if that’s all you care about (and you want an average room for a reasonable price) then definitely book here. The biggest annoyance my girlfriend and I found was that the room really did not look as it did advertised. It was bare, with no amenities or toiletries whatsoever, no bedside lamps and nothing in the bathroom other than towels. This really let the whole place down. Despite its blatant downsides and misleading pictures, the balcony was beautiful and the room, although small and unfinished, is quite cosy. I just think the room needs some extra thought and effort. Disappointing but not bad. I’d recommend looking elsewhere, however, before settling.

    The room given us were at 5th floor . The balcony were completely overrun by the air condition machines and buckets.The room is very tiny , and the bathroom too. It would need a maintenance. The location is perfect to visit the born and Barcelona sea side
