    Fab hotel, fab location, fab staff !

    Booked in a package with easyJet. Hotel was great and would definitely stay again. Arrived at noon from our flight and the lady on reception managed to get us a room straight away ( check in normally 3pm) which was great as we could dump our bags and start enjoying Barcelona straight away ! The location is great, walkable to the gothic quarter las ramblas and the beach. Mind you we were clocking up 30000 steps a day ! We were in room 204, it didn’t have a great view but was at the back of the hotel so it was super quiet so we slept really well during our 5 night stay. Beds comfy and rooms cleaned daily. I understand that some people won’t like the glass shower and toilet in the middle of the room but it didn’t bother us. Shower was powerful and hot. We liked the exiample district, lots of bars and places to eat on your door step and an Aldi just one block away. We felt really safe walking around day and night, the area had a nice buzz about it. Staff were helpful and friendly . All in all a great place to stay!

    Overall a very bad experience. Extra taxes were to get paid when checking in all though everything was paid beforehand (100€). This was not noted anywhere when booking Ako Suite. Customer service has a horrible attitude, and when questions were asked, answers were not provided.

    I rated the hotel 5 stars because it is so good and abit cheap. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and tidy, the beds are very comfortable and the room clean and tidy we have had a great time and we love this hotel we are sure to come back. The AC was abit warm but it was easy to turn it down. The staff was extremely helpful and nice we will thank them for everything.

    Wonderful aparthotel, everything we needed. Lovely staff, really friendly and helpful. Perfectly clean and amazing location. The pool and sun terrace are the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back! Shops and restaurants nearby are great, had a really good pedicure in a nail bar near the cinema. The Chinese hot pot restaurant nearby was delicious.

    A real gem of a place in a great location , quiet , safe neighbourhood of Exiample. 10 minutes walk to Passiage de Gracia and 15 to 20 to the tourist zone of Rambas. We have stayed before ,and we think its a fabulous base for exploring Barcelona. My prerequisites for accomodation is safe, quiet , comfortable , clean , luxury where possible and good price and helpful staff. It is an apart hotel with 24 hour staff who are very nice and helpful no matter when you arrive. Our first time we were met on reception by the very helpful Juan who gave us good tourist advice and checked us in . this time we were greeted by Alam is is new but very helpful. Our Spanish is not great but the team all speak great English. the hotel is close to the University, lots of nice bakeries - shout out to Jonathan and the team at La Valenciana 2 minutes away established in1910, fabulous coffee, pastries and tortilla. Full of locals which is a great sign. We travelled from the aiport by metro to Passiage de Gracia 10 minute walk 5 euro no need for a taxi its quick and easy. Fantastic italian restaurant called Barcelona Milan food, ambience and staff wonderful , the kitchen is on show its very theatrical - had a delicious meal . love that this hotel is in a non tourist area very Spanish which is why we come to Spain. highly recommended Was very surprised to see the negative review about Gemma she was here last time couldn't be more helpful she is great nothing too much trouble - well done , we will be back and thank you for a lovely stay
