This hostel/youth hostel is located right in the heart of Barcelona.

Facility

The hostel has a lift and features 20 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     Pedro was welcoming and full of great information. The staff keeps that place extremely clean. Breakfast is simple, baguette , jams, coffee and juice-was good for us to get our busy day started. We were able to do a load of laundry for not too much. Private room with private bathroom. Small quarters, but worked for us Safe neighborhood close to the American consulate. A bit out of the way but close to all transportation and shopping. Would stay again.

    Room basic, but adequate. Liquid soap provided but no shampoo, so take your own. Beds comfortable. Breakfast of a baguette with cheese or jam, tea or coffee and a madeleine cake. VERY close to the underground train, bus stops and sightseeing bus stops . (Public transport cheap and efficient). Also supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars are close. Lovely and helpful welcome on check in. Thank you so much!

    The location is really great and, although you will find definitely newer hostels in Barcelona, I doubt you will find a better host than Pedro. Extremely friendly, super flexible and always happy to help, he made me feel at home during my first hours in the city. I even had a problem with my reservation (not caused by him, but by the operator through which I booked my stay and he took the trouble to help me sort it out). If you want your stay to have a family-feeling, I would not think it twice and get to meet him. Thank you very much, Pedro, for making my stay feel great!

    Basic but everything you need

    Albergue Studio Hostel has everything you need for a trip to Barcelona. It is clean, good breakfast, hairdryer, air conditioning and free WiFi. Beautiful roof terrace to relax. However I did find it a little noisy with travellers coming and going a lot. The walls are very thin and you can hear people in the adjoining rooms. I would definitely stay again.

    and detailed a map and all of the highlights for tourists was on point! The room was small with 2 twin bed and a private bath. It was smaller than and reminiscent of a college dorm room. It was not cheap by hostel standards, but it was the least expensive of private rooms for my husband and I at the time. It had early check-in and the guy, Pedro, you'll be lucky if he's still there, was super kind, super knowledgeable, drove with my husband to the nearby free parking, told us nearby coffee to get, stored our luggage, was there at breakfast doling out good coffee and good bread, told us how to deal with the public transportation, and on and on. Stay here. It's not the lap of luxury, but it's perfectly comfortable, relatively convenient, and a taste of Barcelona I'll be grateful to have had for always!
