  Avoid - very bad attitude.

  Avoid – Disappointing Stay at Hotel Sansi BarcelonaI would strongly advise against booking this hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive.The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. When I tried to briefly invite a friend to my room, even for just 10 minutes, they refused in a way that left both of us embarrassed.The room itself was poorly maintained: dusty, with bedding that didn’t feel properly clean.The Wi-Fi barely worked, making it difficult to stay connected.Breakfast was very limited with little variety.To make matters worse, the only elevator in the hotel broke down for a day, causing major inconvenience.For the price, I expected at least basic comfort and decent service, but this hotel did not deliver on either. There are plenty of other options in Barcelona—do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

  I honestly don't understand where all those negative reviews are coming from. Spend there 2 nights. It is a clean and quiet hotel with super-nice personnel. Book it, it's fine.

  Some positives - good central location and close to the metro and main city attractions. The hotel is reasonably modern and clean and the bedrooms have all the expected facilities (though the shower is poorly designed and tends to splash the bathroom floor).Hard to say if it's good value for money, since Barcelona hotels have become incredibly expensive in recent years, and the room was quite small. Price wise, it's probably in the mid-range of Barcelona hotels. Everything is relative.

  Just one word: disappointment! The hotel is advertised as a 4-star, but reality is far from it! Here’s a non-exhaustive list of issues we faced during our stay:Starting with the elevators, which feel incredibly shaky. You get the sense that if you sneezed, the entire elevator shaft might collapse.In the Room:The soundproofing is catastrophic. In the room, you can hear absolutely EVERYTHING going on in the hallways. Imagine the chaos in the morning when people get up for breakfast—it’s impossible to sleep in with all the noise in the corridors. The same goes for the cleaning staff, who create a racket in the hallway, especially with what sounds like glass bottles. And when you’re in the hallways, you can hear EVERYTHING happening inside the rooms. There’s a gap between the door and the floor, allowing both sound and light to come through.As for the bathroom, it’s beyond words. No toilet brush, and the shower gel and shampoo dispensers are empty. What’s the point of installing dispensers if they’re never refilled, not even once over an entire week? Additionally, a terrible sewer smell fills the bathroom and drifts into the room because the bathroom door doesn’t close. The smell is unbearable, and despite using the tub plug, closing the toilet lid, and covering the bidet with a towel, nothing helps. And why bother with a ventilation system in the bathroom if there’s no way to activate it?Back in the room, for a 4-star hotel, there’s nothing provided for guests—no coffee, not even tea. Just emptiness. As for the bedding, it’s a disaster. The mattresses are so hard that we had back pain the entire week (we’re 26 and 28, in good health, with no back problems) to the point of having back spasms.Still in the room, every other hotel we’ve been to has a small sign to hang on the door indicating privacy. Here, that doesn’t exist. You’re in your room, but the cleaning staff will still come in and ask you to leave so they can clean. You end up being kicked out of the room that YOU PAID FOR. It’s absurd; I’ve never seen anything like it. As a result, every time you’re in your room and hear noise in the hallway, you feel like they’re about to throw you out, so you can never truly relax. And speaking of cleaning, what are they even cleaning? There’s hair all over the floor (and no, it wasn’t mine!), and if you look under the beds, it’s disgusting!The hotel supposedly has a bar—false! There are just vending machines where you can buy cans or chips (and the cans are disgusting, probably sitting there for who knows how long).Let’s not forget the internet connection, which is dismal, practically nonexistent. The network is so unstable that we ended up using our mobile data almost the entire time. It’s pathetic for a so-called 4-star hotel.Additionally, we specifically paid for a double bed and got two singles pushed together! What’s the point of offering this option and charging people if you can’t meet your guests’ requests?!

  A great place to stay both comfort and location

  Nice modern hotel . Clean rooms . Nice bathroom amenities . Excellent water pressure in the shower . Water was able to be gloriously hot . Huge bath towels . Very comfy bed . Friendly . Allowed us an early 1:30 check in . Doors always locked from the street so very secure . We did not do breakfast here so can’t comment on that . Highly recommend!
