  First of all, the self check-in didn’t work for us, and we didn’t know how we would manage if we had arrived after reception hours.Secondly, there was no toilet brush provided, so we spent 9 days without being able to clean properly.Also, a strange detail: you can’t watch TV unless you turn on the AC, but the AC is set to constant heating and can’t be turned off.Overall, I would recommend choosing a different hotel, this one is not worth it.   Great room, quiet and clean. Easy to obtain the access card, with a friendly environment. Close to a major highway, no parking wich is the downside.   Good quiet urban location, rooms were ok and comfortable Poor check in process leaving many guests frustrated, only one check in machine on a busy time.   Beautiful city!

  Well where do I start! First we couldn't get in the building till someone came out and decided to help us after pressing the Intercom for about 5 times! The man then helped us to check in which was a drawn out process because it was a machine check in.The corridors have a strange smell when you walk through them.Our room was on the 3rd floor they had lifts so this was easy enough to get to.The room was what you paid for basic but a bit shabby in places, Bedding wasn't changed till our 6th day out of a 10 day stay towels every 3rd day.The pool was open from 12-7 but was absolutely freezing! Only the brave could get in that.Every time we went down there was some one blaring their music out so loud. The same person every day yes I could of left and gone to my room but just wanted to relax, didnt want them to turn it off just down.The reception wasn't manned till 12 then closed again at 8.Trying to get to the attractions in the town was by trams and the metro underground.The buildings, parks and streets in Barcelona were absolutely beautiful😍 and made up for the not so nice apartments.Won't be going to this hotel again and if you can find alternative apartments I would do! As indicated in the booking conditions, the apartments have automated check-in and reception is staffed from 12:00 to 20:00; outside these hours, our on-duty team is available to assist. Towels are changed every 3 nights and bedding every 6 nights. The pool is not heated, and noise from other guests can occasionally occur. We hope this helps clarify the apartment’s services.

  We stayed here for 3 nights.Our mistake, we meant to book Sant Just and mistakenly booked Sant Joan. Firstly, couldn’t get in the building. Pressed the buzzer and got a recorded message in Spanish (of course) but we couldn’t get in! Waited about ten minutes and a guest came out so we dipped into the lobby. Still couldn’t get in through the next door! There was a self check in machine so I battled through trying to check in, but again all in Spanish (I get we are in Spain!) eventually a man appeared and showed me how to check in, very long winded having to put all the information in for both travellers staying in the same room! Got the entrance card. No one on reception but had the room number from the machine. Headed up in the lift. Clean areas. Found our room, 613, 6th floor obviously. Clean bed but very squeaky! Soft as fluff pillow. Dirty marks on the wall, cracked tiles, dirty floor in bathroom, broken lampshade, windows with no chain stop, they just open, really wide, and we’re on the 6th floor! Table and chairs next to window. No one on reception and very late by now so went to bed. Next morning no one on reception still, coffee in a pay machine and drinks in a vending machine. We went next door to ‘Cups’ had a nice coffee there. Headed out for the day, tram easy to find and use and went into Barcelona. When we came back that night, still couldn’t get into the building! Again no one on reception and waited again for someone to come out and let us in. Eventually we did get in. That night the fire alarm went off just before midnight, I woke my husband up (I know!!!!) and we headed off to reception, no one there, just us, at some point a young lad came down in the lift and said it had been him and it was all fine go back to bed, so eventually we went back to bed, in bed half an hour and the fire alarm goes off again, back down to reception we go, again only us and the lad from before, out of a whole hotel! This time there was a security man and he said ‘no fire just smoke’ and we understood that it was an error and went back to bed again, but didn’t sleep that well after that. Next morning there was a girl on reception and she said someone had dry boiled their kettle and set the alarms off, also told us the code for getting in from outside. Didn’t see her again, went out for the day again. We only had one more night so stayed in the room we were in and left early next morning.
