  Stuck in the Elevator ruined the experience

  Its hard to give an unbiased review when you got stuck in the elevator for an hour. Up until then it was a very good experience. The location is down a narrow street that Uber or a taxi won't usually go. I was on a 5 week holiday so I had a very big suitcase that had to be rolled 700 metres from where the taxi dropped us from the airport. Organising the codes to get in wasn't that easy but once we got the hang of it. it worked well. The room was nice the TV good, washer dryer worked well. The last day we were taking the lift down and we felt a big bump. we pushed all the buttons and we were obviously stuck. We called the number in the lift but we didn't speak Spanish well enough to explain what happened. The reception isn't good for cell phones in the lift either. we used the speaker inside and it didn't work well. It was a Sunday, Fortunately there were people outside who wanted to use the lift and they heard us yelling help we are stuck. They spoke Spanish so we think they called the service number and told them the lift was broken. The lift was too small for two of us to sit in comfortably. after 45 minutes we heard some noises at the door and yelled out. The elevator mechanic opened the door and used google to translate. We were stuck between the 1st and second floor with a gap about 250mm wide that the mechanic could talk to us through. He told us he would work on getting us out and in 15 minutes he opened the door again and we got out on the first floor. We were lucky that we weren't headed to the airport or some other appointment that was time sensitive. We had to climb the stairs for the remainder of our stay which wasn't great since we were on the fourth floor. In summary I wouldn't recommend staying there simply because of that one incident. I'm sure it was a very rare occurence but still, it's very upsetting getting stuck in an elevator.   Brilliant location, home away from home

  We had a wonderful stay in these apartments. The location was excellent, the apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Even though there are no staff on site, they are available to answer any queries and helped us book a taxi back to the airport. We found the communication to be excellent.   Was Just as Great the Second Time

  This is the second time we have stayed here. And again, they did not disappoint. The apartment was clean and well stocked with the basic necessities. We love the location right in the Gothic Quarter. It was close to all the things you could need. We loved the rooftop pool deck. The pool is just a small wading pool, but the lounging area was a great way to decompress after being out seeing the sites. The staff in the office were excellent and helped us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend you stay here while in Barcelona.   Great apartment in a great location

  Fantastic apartments located centrally but with a pool on the roof which is unusual. Lovely 1 bed apt with everything you could possibly need. Modern and well designed. Fantastic quiet aircon and even a nespresso coffee machine. Couldn’t fault our stay.

  This is was really a 5-star experience. Spacious and renovated apartment very close to Paseo de Gracia. All the amenities you can expect. Brand new Bosch appliances. All you need in the kitchen. Excellent customer service. They knew I was already in Barcelona and at about 11 am they texted me the apartment was ready. Check in was at 2 or 3. How cool is that?Again location could not be better. Large and nicely decorated apartment. I highly recommend it.
