    More than I expected, great value for money, clean, friendly staff

    I chose the Fira Basic for its price and location near the Fira Barcelona. I was looking for affordable accommodation. We liked it a lot and it was better than we expected. The room (room 3) had everything you need, A/C, TV, Wi-Fi, private bathroom, shower with hot water and good pressure, chest of drawers and wardrobe - and peace of mind thanks to the noise cancellation. I went in December and it was warm in the room, it was perfect. We had a door that led to a small interior space as a window. The common kitchen area is fantastic, there is a large fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle. There is free tea and coffee as well as free fruit, muffins and croissants, and water replenished every day. Every day they clean your room, change towels, etc. and the girl is lovely. Federico was also very kind, he let us enter the room a little earlier and leave later without charging us extra, very grateful. I accompanied my daughter to an event and spent a lot of time at Fira Basic, resting in the common areas, drinking tea. It's a 5-minute walk from the subway (it's uphill though, hehe) and there are supermarkets, a pharmacy and several fast food restaurants nearby.
