Location

This hotel is located on the Avenida Diagonal, near the Barcelona International Exhibition and Conference Centre (CCIB). It is in an ideal location, not only due to it being the business area of the city, but also due to the proximity to the harbour, the Aquàrium de Barcelona and the underwater reef. The beach is about 500 m away and the city centre is less than 15 min away. Ronda Litoral street and public transport links offer easy access to further attractions.

Facility

40 suites and 324 double rooms are located on 26 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Most units have a sea view. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Equipped with a direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi, the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. The bathrooms have a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are provided. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers cycling/mountain biking. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. Additional amenities include an entertainment programme for children with a number of fun activities.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals and gluten-free meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and picnics are available.     Me and my mum stayed here for 4 days for my birthday.I can’t fault this hotel in anyway!!!!! It’s clean, friendly and quiet. Great for friends, couples and families with two pool, a gym, a restaurant and bars.The room is modern and clean. The high standard of cleaning is seen throughout the hotel. The staff are helpful. Great location not fare from the city with a metro station just minutes away and the beach about a 10 minute walk. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends and I would 100% come back. On my birthday I came back to my room and the hotel had left me a birthday surprise it was very kind and thoughtful.     Inaccessible, rude caretaker; missing Apple Watch

    My partner booked this trip for my birthday present - it was presented much fancier then other hotels we’ve stayed in so we were very excited,Checking in was fine, staff were polite. However, we had booked an accessible room at the time of booking, however we did not receive this. The room was nice, although we had stained towels.On our second night, we were showering and I had a medical episode and passed out (would have reduced risk if I had a shower seat in an accessible room). Whilst passed out, my partner put my legs up and cooled the water down. After I came round and was ready to be helped up, we noticed the water had risen (due to me laying on the plug?) and had flooded the bathroom, and some of the bedroom (including our suitcase/clothes on the floor, electric wheelchair battery etc.We were both completely flustered and I called reception immediately to report this so we could get more towels. A cleaner came and called for extra towels, she couldn’t really communicate with us but she was nice,Then the caretaker arrived, he was extremely condescending and passive aggressive!!!! I had a medical episode and was quite literally in my robe, he made rude comments to us even after explaining I passed out and could do nothing, he said we had 5 minutes to get dressed, pack up our belongings and go to reception to get our room changed, I had dripping wet hair, all my clothes were soaking wet so I had to wear pyjamas, whilst carrying a soaking wet bag of my belongings to the desk, in my wheelchair, my partner with the rest of our stuff. As we were leaving the caretaker says “next shower make sure you pay attention”????The man at the desk (I did take his name, but I appear to have lost it) I think it began with an M, if you let me know - I can confirm, was an angel. I couldn’t fault him at all, he took full care of us seeing my distress, he took the wet bag of clothes and had them dried for us for when we got back that night, he checked on us and if it was just him - he would of got 5 stars.Once at the desk we were assigned our room, same floor as the previous one that we just lugged all our luggage down from. Room 1, we could use Netflix. Room 2, we couldn’t access any TV. We missed our visit to park guelle that night even though we had booked tickets but it was fine we made the most of it, in all the commotion my partner realised she left my Apple Watch in her robe (my medical device to watch my heart rate), we went to reception immediately and they told us not to worry, they’d contact the external company that takes the robes but they’re closed weekends so it will be posted to us when we’re home - suprise suprise, my Apple Watch has not arrived, probably stolen, and we’re not in a position we can replace it yet. Pros: pretty views, luggage room, Thank you to the lovely man at the desk, none of this is aimed at you at all and you were a breath of fresh air,The grumpy caretaker on the other hand needs some disability training.

    Plus:Good location for transport links to anywhereFabulous views over the city and seaTwo pools and nice reception areas. Cons:Rooms not practical- no door to toilet from bedroom, hanging lamp a hazard, lighting poor, limited storage and lack of hooks in bathroom. Fire alarm went off two out of three nights - one night twice, giving us a fright! No apology.Room not cleaned day 1 when we got back about 4pm to get ready to go out. They did turn up but it was not convenient then. Next day room cleaned but water not replenished. We returned about 10.30 pm and asked at reception for water - too late? Had to buy at bar!! €5!     Airconditioning is really loud and was not functioning. Room temperature was above 27 degrees. Staff was not accomodaties the request at the time of Booking for a Quiet room. A lost object was misrouted to the wrong Guest in their system. Breakfast was not varied.     Stayed at this wondeful hotel from 07/05/26 until 11/05/26 had a Great stay rooms were lovey and clean staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely lots of variety, location was great tube station is a 5 minutes walk away also just 10 minutes your on the beach we tended to walk into Barcelona main city most days along the beach about 40 minute walk would stay again this is our 5th time in Barcelona thanks Hotel Princess for a lovely city break.
