  Really good experience. Loved the apartment and the hospitality. These two kind employees tabaire and elianor. They helped really for our baggage and check out proccesses.   The location of the apartment is fantastic and is 15mins walk from la ramblas.All the rooms are decent sized and spotless. The bathroom lights were not all working and the water took 10minutes to get hot and then went ice cold after 2minutes of hot water.The shower tray had a bloackage so the water wouldnt go down the drainage causing a back up and water running all over the bathroomLoose light fitting with wires exposed especially the one above the shower very dangerous and also a loose fitting in the dining roomThe door to the courtyard was loose so to secure the door properly we used the dining tableThe policy for the apartment is not accurate and has incorrect information which can potentially cost you a small fortune as they cancel your booking without warning or reason as to why this has happened till you contact them directly and they state something completely different to what their policy says online…becareful Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Villarroel Apartments, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.We are delighted that you found the apartment spacious and well-designed.   Very nice apartment in Barcelona

  Villarroel Apartment was an excellent accommodation for our group of 4. Everything was as described on the websites. A little bit expensive, but in line with the general prices range for accommodation in Barcelona.Location was great, at 150 m from the nearest underground station, that provides connections to the entire city. Various shops are available also at walking distance, very near of the apartment. The internet connection was excellent, for all our devices (mobile phones & laptops).   The shower didn’t drain. Blankets were stained. Sofa mattress (5th bed) was too hard to sleep on. Iron had huge black burnt mark on it making it inoperable. I could not get a hold of anyone at Villarroel’s office. One time someone who answered from the office hung up on me and another time someone told me that whatever I have in the apartment is all I get and nothing more. Even though it was clean, I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.
