  HI We stayed for 1Night the location of hotel is very good enjoyed moving on street till late night. Many bars,food joints..fun place was all around. The only disadvantage building is too small and its on 3rd floor but thanks to Reception person who came down to pick us downstairs where we were lost how to reach with all bags on 3 rd floor. Overall good stay and staff was helpful.

  Hostal BCN Ramblas is a very unassuming hotel but is in a great location right on La Rambla, is clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located right in front of Liceu metro station. If you exit via the Mercado de La Boqueria exit you will end up in front of Barcelona's major market which is exactly opposite the hotel. The sign can be a bit hard to spot but the hotel's door is between a Taco Bell and Mostly Restaurant. The lift is small but does work - remember to push LL to call it. Otherwise it's several flights of narrow stairs. Staff are friendly. The room was big enough for 2 people and their suitcases. Very clean. Comfortable bed. A safe was provided. Considering it's location it was quiet. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Plenty of security. Staff were really friendly.

  Hostal BCN ramblas gave me the worst possible experience

  Hi there I have been staying in Hostal BCN ramblas for the past two nights. I booked twin beds with an extra bed however when I checked in we were given a room with a double bed and a single bed. We went out for a day of sightseeing and when we got back to the hostal one of the workers said that our bed was rocking and was asking if it was ok. I said my friend had slept on the floor and the other one slept on the bed. We walked into the room one of my friends sat on the bed and the legs gave out. I called reception and someone came to collect the bed. I asked the man if I would be charged and he said no. Both my friends slept on the floor that night and in the morning I got a knock on the door. A man said that we would have to pay 100 euros for the bed at which I said that we were told we would not be charged. He went for two hours and then the man who collected the bed came to the door saying we would be charged 40 euros. I then said I would like to speak to the manager. The man who took the bed then lied to the manager saying that he said I would b charged. The manager claimed that I would have to either pay for the damages or I would be banned from booking.com. I then claimed if this was black mail and his answer was yes and then quickly changed to no. I feel like I have been threatened and treated very badly by this accommodation.

  Although the location is good, I would say you should avoid staying at this hostel at all costs. Our air conditioning didn’t work so it was actually colder to sit outside than in our room at night. The walls were peeling and had a hole in. And then after a long day of sightseeing in Barcelona we can back to our room to relax and sat on our bed, which was completely fine the night before with the weight of two of us sleeping in, and it collapsed under the weight of one person sitting on the front. They were unable to replace our bed that day so we were sleeping on the floor for a night, and to make things worse we got a knock on the door the next morning to be told we were being charged €100 for it as we broke it, BY SITTING ON IT.

  Hostel is close to Maine street but the only reason to paying 50eur is not enough because its even difficult to her upstairs.lift is small only 1 person and one luggage or two persons without even handbag. reception desk very impolite. Because i had made mistake when i booked on front desk he told me that i cant change my date of stay because od too lato. For me is a thief
