  I stayed in a double room here with my daughter which I booked last minute as we had a stop over in Barcelona and a long flight the next day. Absolutely terrible ,the sheets were clean but other than that the room was run down and pretty disgusting. The bathroom was so dirty we used the one at the nearby bar and didn’t even use the shower as it was full of someone else’s dirty towels and it was filthy .The bedside table had so many cigarette burns and the windows/curtains were just horrible. The location was great and the lady (Anna) at the front desk was very welcoming and kind ,other than her the rest of the staff barely acknowledged us. The whole place was a mess, well below basic standards if I’d had the time and energy I would have left.Not even cheap and cheerful

  Room basic, unfortunately the air conditioner leaked water from roof all night and left the floor with quite a puddle to wade through when you got up to go to the toilet. We did report this to a lady in reception when we went out for dinner but nobody seen to the problem. Also got up to no power to our room and had to get the night manager to repair problem. We had prepaid for our room for bed & breakfast but were informed breakfast did not com ence until 8am and as we had a flight we needed to leave by 7.45am. No offer of a refund for breakfast when we informed them we wouldn't be able to wait and have breakfast. The Hotel is in a good location in the heart of the city.

  I'm actually staying in the hotel right now and I'm really satisfied. It's true the rooms are not that big but it's clean and the staff are very nice. The location is great, close to everything. The price is good and 5 think it's not worth it to pay big money for a other hotels where you can save it to do other things, maybe tasting more Tapas..lol. To be franc with you, Bàrcelona is a beautiful city and there is a lot to do here, you don't have a time to hang out at the hotel. The secret of spending a nice holiday in this marvelous city, is to find a clean place close to everything ( Ramblas and ...). Be Ramblas guest is a great choice.

  Reliable budget accommodation in an excellent location

  I stay at Be Ramblas around four times a year on regular trips to Barcelona, and I've never been disappointed. It's not luxury accommodation and the rooms are small, but it's clean, the staff are friendly, the wi-fi is fast and reliable, and the location is excellent.All rooms have a (very small) balcony, and some appear to have been refurbished recently. If you're not going en-suite, be reassured that the shared bathrooms are clean and hardly ever busy.(Hint: don't just walk toward La Rambla - explore in the other direction too - there are lots of great restaurants on the Rambla del Raval, for example.)

  over priced and dirty, rude staff

  If you’re looking for an over priced and dirty place to sleep in a decent location, this is it. I stayed here one night and was disappointed with the accommodations, it was outdated and not very well kept. The young women at reception could speak English but she was not very communicative and kind of rude. The location was good, but I found other comparable hostels and hotels that were a much better value.
