Location

This charming hotel is also wonderfully located, close to the sea. The nearest public transport links are just a stone's throw from the hotel. The city centre and various bars and clubs are easily reached on public transport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 177 non-smoking rooms, including 171 double rooms, located in a 7-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     Perfect hotel for staying in the city though a bit away from noise and crowds. We had a twin room with a sea side view. The beds were comfy, breakfast tasty and we had a pleasure staying in this hotel

    A lovely hotel, right on the sea front. An easy 15 minute metro ride into Barcelona centre, super easy and convenient to be able to have both city and sea front. We chose room 2616 before arriving, with a lovely sea view. No issues with the room, free safe and mini fridge for use, and housekeeping each day. Breakfast was ok, not too much variety for hot food but a good bread and cold foods selection. Aircon also good. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a Barcelona city break, to wake up by the sea before a day of walking and sightseeing.     First welcome at the desk extremely professional and warm, the room was not big but very clean. Bed is confortable. Wifi sufficient to work a bit.     Unhygienic beds and poor staff attitude

    Upon check in, found hairs on both beds. Was offered another room, also found hairs. The 3rd the staff came with us to inspect. Found hairs again . Even he said it’s unacceptable and suggested us to change hotel but would provide no refund. My friend compromised and asked for a new set of bedsheets so she can change it. Upon pulling the sheet cover out, the staff was horrified to see even more hairs with several patches of yellow stains on the mattress protector. We quickly took photos and the staff removed it and said the issue has been ‘fixed’. It’s already 2 hours mucking around and 9pm we were exhausted and still haven’t eaten. We asked for compensatory discount for the on site meal service. To our surprise, the staff said it’s outsourced and not up to him to offer discount. We then asked for complimentary breakfast. He agreed but the other female staff said no and they would not compensate anything. Her attitude was so poor and arrogant. We wrote emails to complain to manager. The manager said they were always treating customers nicely and out of goodwill to provide us with breakfast. We were mislead by others good reviews so want to warn other people this hotel is not hygienic ( with at least 3 rooms we checked) and poor staff attitude. The breakfast site has multiple chipped bowls and plates and dust on glasses. It’s definitely not a 4 star hotel and what it claimed to be!
