  Had a pleasant stay at Blanc Guest House. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room was spotless and nice touches with complimentary water bottle and slippers. Location is quiet but quite a walk from the main tourist areas although it is easy to navigate the public transport system - I found buses, from bus stops close by, were frequent, reliable and the better option than metro. The downsides of the guest house for me was the noisy air conditioning unit in the room and the repetitive breakfast. This wouldn’t be a problem if staying for one or two nights but for a weeks’ stay, it is tedious and lacks balance and nutrition. Cheese slices, processed chicken slices and salmi, granola, muffins, biscuits, pastries, cakes, chocolate roll, brioche, and white and brown bread plus a sparse fruit bowl. Young kids seemed to love the sugar overload breakfast but not the adults. Overall, I would recommend the guest house for a short stay but not a full week.

  Worst hotel ever

  DO NOT come here!! Probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and at a very expensive price. The door to the bathroom in my room got stuck and I was locked in there for almost an hour before they called a technician. we were told this has happened before with many of the doors in the hotel, which caused another girl to miss her flight home. It was extremely hot in the bathroom, and the hotel staff simply laughed when trying to get me out. I was promised compensation for my taxi to the airport, which was then denied the next day.Terrible and rude customer service, my friend and I felt highly unwelcome. We tried our best to stay out of the hotel most of the day. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay in Barcelona!!!!

  Lovely place with really friendly staff. The whole place was spotlessly clean with your room tidied every day. Very good location, 10 minutes from the metro and bus stops even closer. The terrace was a lovely place to sit and relax and despite being in a busy city, was very quiet and calming.Should we return to Barcelona, a beautiful city by the way, there would be no hesitation in stopping at the Blanc Guesthouse again. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.

  !! Be aware: the b&b lies in a party street- la traviesa,4 latas, Gatsby etc etc.. You can not sleep even with earplugs on!!Also you should know that this is an apartment. If you're neighbors are having fun, you will hear everything through the walls!I always prefer b&b because of more familiar. But I have never seen such a cold place as this one, in the morning you are hardly greeted, not once they would ask if everything was ok. I travel often and especially to Spain, have never found in my life before such a cold atmosphere.Breakfast is nothing special and only starts at 8.The air condition licked which is no problem if the rest would have been ok.Can not recommend the place.
