This charming B&B is situated in the heart of Barcelona just minutes away from Gaudi's La Pedrera and Casa Batlló and surrounded by the most exclusive streets of Barcelona, Rambla Catalunya and Paseig de Gracia. All the best shops, restaurants and museums are also just a short distance away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1890. 27 non-smoking rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, a safe, a TV room, a 24-hour security service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

Rooms

Air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view onto the street from a balcony or terrace.     Long & complicated codes system to have access, very noisy room you feel to have the windows open on the road .. cold temperature and no way to regulate the heating, not so clean and healthy .. definitively to avoid!

    Very very small rooms, but especially very dirty: moldy shower floor, dysfunctional sink, mold under the bed, moldy and dirty bedside table, hair in bed, stains on the walls and extremely odorous. who suffers from asthma dies in 2 days here!nothing compensates for the lack of hygiene found by us: the location, the attitude of the employees, the breakfast, NOTHING!!

    Don’t even bother. If you booked in less than one minute, they won’t even cancel your booking without penalty, which is the whole price for the room. It doesn’t matter what your situation is, they don’t care! Called the staff, the girl, that answered the phone was so rude and unaccommodating at all. Don’t believe the good reviews. No friendly staff whatsoever. And booking.com is no help either. So yea. Find another accommodation

    Don’t be put off by bed & breakfast title, this is a lovely place that is more hotel than B&B. Room was lovely and clean with an outside terrace that was perfect for my husband to have a smoke instead of going down stairs outside. Staff were lovely and the continental breakfast was perfect before setting out for the day. Freshly squeezed orange juice and lovely coffee. Would stay again and would recommend for great value and close to all amenities.

    It's a good location, within walking distance of lots of the main attractions of Barcelona and a couple of blocks from the R2 that gets you to the airport. Our room was good, bed was a bit bouncy - could do with a memory foam mattress - but apart from that all good. Tiny stairs or small lift up, but then I'd say it's not a great place for a family with young kids, much better for couples or friends. There are quite a few steps and narrow passages so if you've got mobility issues you may be better off with a big-name hotel. Breakfast was fine, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was nice and quiet but you could just about hear the washing machine at night, but that's the only thing I heard - I always suggest people take earplugs on holiday anyway. I think value is okay but then I got it with air miles. Happy to recommend with the caveat of it being more suited to some people than others.
