  Great value and excellent location. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The location is central to everything, with the train station right out front and plenty of stores, restaurants, cafes and bars.   I cannot recommend this hotel

  We arrived at this hotel with the expectation that it would be cute and comfortable. Our experience was the opposite. The painting of our room was incomplete, the bed was not flat, bathroom overflowed with water when the shower was used and only wall faced what appears to be an apartment with an unpleasant appearance. The only reason why this rating is not less is due to the kind lady that worked the desk.   Boutique with good services and great personnel

  This is a boutique hotel in the center of Barcellona: nice rooms and common spaces, shabby chic decors, complimentary afternoon drinks and breakfast... we couldn't ask for more. Also personnel was kind and helpful: we loved when the receptionist offered to book a parking on our behalf so that we could enjoy a good discount on the standard price. Las Rambles are 10-15 mins walk from the Hotel; Blai street with plenty of cool restaurants is just 5 mins away. Price was "fair": nowadays hotels are very expensive in Barcellona and this one at least offered a good quality and the complimentary services which I mentioned above , Dueño at Casa Vaganto, responded to this review Dear Dolom, we are glad to read that your stay in our hotel was pleasant and exceeded your expectations.   Nice staff, great location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Loved the breakfast and wished I'd had time to partake in the Vermouth Happy Hour! The staff were one and all very welcoming and helpful. When I needed to check out a day early, the graciously gave me a refund. Thanks for a great stay!   Very overpriced for what you receive. The showers don't have hot water. I took a cold shower twice. It was very uncomfortable. I will be requesting a full refund for this stay. The place is nicely decorated but far too overpriced, location didn't feel safe and the receptionist with curly hair was very rude. When I pressed the buzzer to the main door she shouted at me and asked me to wait until she had finished her introduction. Note I was keen to open the door as I saw a random guy following me to my destination. , Dueño at Casa Vaganto, responded to this review Dear Tasmira,We regret that your experience at the hotel was not to your liking.At the time of your arrival you insistently rang the doorbell. Due to the fact that not all the building where we are located does not belong to us, for security reasons we always ask if you have a reservation. When you arrived at the front desk you told us what happened and we apologized for making you wait a few more seconds before opening the door and we explained why.During your 1 night stay, you did not report any faults with your shower. Also, we left an emergency contact number in the room, just in case that something happens when our reception is close. Had we known, we would have done everything possible to make your stay more pleasant.We would like to apologize again for your bad experience in Barcelona.
