Location

This pleasant hotel lies in the business district between the Rambla de Cataluña and Paseo de Gracia. It is just a few paces to the modernist building of La Pedrera that was designed by Gaudí and it is a short 10-minutes walk to the cathedral and the Gothic quarter. The hotel enjoys an excellent location, with a peaceful ambience that is ideal for business travellers who value a personal level of service. Located nearby is the Paseo de Gracia where guests will discover an abundance of shops, boutiques, cinemas, nightclubs, antique stores and galleries. The city centre (Plaça de Catalunya) is a mere 1.5 km away. Barcelona international airport is 12 km away and the exhibition centre lies some 4 km from the hotel.

    Nice motel,but expensive. Be sure you request a room away from the elevators or you'll hear them running all night. No bottled water provided in room unless you pay for it. If you want to stay in the busy part of Barcelona, this is the motel for you. Great restaurant.

    Was at a Hilton affiliated property for business, but was too pricey to continue to stay there on personal expenses. We chose this property based on reviews and we were NOT disappointed.

    The Gallery is located in a beautiful area of beautiful Barcelona. The room is fine, good bath/shower facilities, and a comfortable bed. It has a restaurant and a welcoming rooftop bar. The place just has good energy.Importantly, it has wonderful staff; particularly helpful for our stay was Marinella, who "only" managed to recommend to us three wonderful restaurants for us to experience, all within walking distance (directions included). She represents the hotel well...a class venue in a terrific area. The connected restaurant was not used by us, but it's always nice to have that "very local" option.
