    The hotel staff were very friendly & helpful especially Simo & Adam. Simo gave us a lot of travel information & suggestions. He also recommended us to go to a very good local restaurant &!made the booking for us. Adam helped us to get a taxi by accompanying us to walk to a street away as no taxi taking the hotel taxi order. He would also open the taxi door for us when we took taxi back to the hotel & he would double check the taxi seats to see if we have left anything in the taxi. We stayed in a superior double room in this hotel for 6 nights. The room was spacious & modern compared to many other European hotels rooms. The toilet was also big with a big shower box & towels heater. The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s within 20-30 mins walking directions to most of the tourist attractions. It’s also just 5 minutes walk to the metro & bus stops.

    Outstanding. Adam, Simo and the rest of the staff were very helpful, such as coming up with several good restaurant suggestions and even making reservations for us. Breakfast was very good, and the breakfast area is quiet and roomy. Our Superior room was very comfortable, spacious, with a great shower, and quiet at night. The location was perfect for exploring Barcelona. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

    From the moment we arrived at Catalonia Magdalenes till we reluctantly left, we had one of the best experiences in all of our travels! We walked into a modern, inviting lobby and were warmly greeted by the great reception staff. Our room was absolutely lovely, and spotless. There were special toiletries, comfortable bed and pillows, robe and slippers. There was a mini-bar, water and coffee machine. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with made to order omelets. When I said I had Celiac disease they brought me warm gluten free bread! I found more than enough options to fill up for our busy days. The location of this hotel is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood but just a short walk to Barcelona Cathedral, and many other sites including the Mediterranean Sea. Nearby are main avenues with transportation, shopping, and restaurants. Also a short trip to the not to be missed Basilica Sagrada Familia.What really makes this hotel stand out are the exceptional staff! During our stay these great people Aida, Carla, David, Kevin, Tatiana were always there at the desk to accommodate us with a smile. One of the biggest smiles came from concierge Simo, who went above and beyond helping us to get our Sim card to work, taking us to a nearby store. In the evening, concierge Alfredo took over and was so helpful finding restaurants that had gluten free options, even bringing us there. We really appreciated that!The breakfast staff Ruth, Riego, Adalberto, and the rest really shined. Tino and Brandson took extra special care of us at the rooftop bar in the evenings. Thank you to Marta, the general manager, who helped make our stay special, even acknowledging our anniversary. Thank you again to all the wonderful staff for making our visit so special!     A reception staff member Adam treated me like an intruder and interrogated me, even though I was a guest. I felt embarrassed.
