This hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic quarter, in one of the city's most popular streets, Calle Ample. The nearests links to the public transport network are 200 m, the port is 250 m and the city centre (Plaza Catalunya) is 500 m. It is an easy walk to all the biggest attractions, Las Ramblas to Via Laietana, the Gothic cathedral and the Picasso Museum. Barcelona Airport is 15 km away.

Facility

41 non-smoking rooms, including 17 single rooms and 20 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     We arrived 3/30/2026 ater a 15 day Transatlantic cruise. We were able to check in early which was great. Our room was great. Everything was clean. Every employee we encountered was so pleasant and helpful. When we couldn't figure out the television they sent someone to show us. The hotel in located close to shopping and restaurants. Also just a quick cab ride to the Basilica. A great stay all around. Would recommend them to anyone staying in Barcelona.     The hotel has a very good location, the staff was very helpful but unfortunately is not a 4 star hotel. The rooms need improvement, bathroom especially. The breakfast was a medium quality one. In my opinion the online grade is not a reflection of the reality. The room was cleaned every day.     There was a problem with the booking, and the front staff was extremely helpful. In a world that sometimes values efficiency over empathy this was a welcome interaction that spoke of kindness and patience.     The Hotel Catalonia Port was fantastic. Clean, well designed room, great staff and allowed us to quickly access the Gothic Quarter and El Born.     Had a 3 night stay here recently and really enjoyed everything at the hotel. Staff were efficient and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food on offer. Rooms were very clean and well furnished with an amazing walk in shower. Situated in the Gothic quarter so easy walking distance to the beach and the popular Ramblas. Don't expect fabulous views from your bedroom window due to the nature of the hotels location. Just enjoy the feeling of being in a historic area.
