    I had a very upsetting experience at this hotel recently. A valuable personal item was taken inside the hotel, and the staff initially acknowledged that it had happened. I was told they would “look into it” and update me.After that, I heard nothing. I’m sharing to prevent this from happening to any others. Despite emailing, calling, and following up multiple times, I received no response at all. It felt like they said they would investigate just to end the conversation, with no real intention of helping or resolving the situation.I’ve stayed in many different hotels and apartments while travelling, and I have never experienced anything like this — nor have I ever received such poor service and lack of communication. Most places take guest safety seriously and follow up properly. Sadly, this hotel did not.Please consider this carefully before booking. Security and trust are essential, and this experience has completely put me off staying here again.

    The walls are thinner than your skin you can hear next door literally breathing, washing there hands in toilet, toilet flushing talking whispering everything! It’s woken me up everyday I’ve been here terrible hotel

    Fantastic location midway between university area and ramblas. Short walk to place cataluna plaza and transit links. Many bars and cafes close by., fun street with a college vibe but quiet at night for sleepingStaff is helpful but somewhat standoffosh. In room coffee a big plus, rooftop jacuzzi felt great after a long day. Nice little balcony for people watching. Bathroom and shower were fine, although very hard not to soak floor.     We stayed for two nights and were very happy with the hotel & room. The room appeared to be fairly recently updated - it was spacious with plenty of hanging space for clothes and a good size bathroom. Handwash, shampoo & shower gel were provided in full size bottles. The room is quite basic but was all that we needed for a short stay. A couple of plug sockets located right by the bed, very useful as often we struggle to charge our phones by the bed!Hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful. One of them explained all the different places to visit and offered to make bookings for us (we had already pre-booked the places we had intended to visit but it was still very useful information). There is a locked luggage storage room if you arrive before check-in and also to use after checkout. Location was great - lots of bars, cafes and shops with a few mins walk, the nearest metro is around 5 mins walk away and if you catch the Aerobus from the airport the bus stop is less than 10 min walk from the hotel.

    Hotel is in a great location giving easy access to the centre of Barcelona and surrounding area. Staff were extremely helpful. The room was clean and had what we needed for a weekend, a kettle would have been a better option than the coffee machine we thought. Would recommend.
