  Way too pricey for what you get

  For the price we paid, it honestly felt like a joke. The room is extremely small, barely enough space for two people and their suitcases. The biggest concern, however, is the security policy: guests are asked to leave their room keys at the front desk every time they go out. The keys are kept on an open rack behind the desk, and anyone can walk in, ask for a room number, and receive the key, no ID or verification needed. There’s no way staff can remember which guest matches which room. Soundproofing is another major issue. You can hear everything from adjacent rooms, plus loud echoes from the hallway whenever someone walks by or shuts a door. Overall, it was far below expectations.

  Tiny hotel, not good for families, tiny rooms, tiny lift. broken bed and window, meant room was very noisy. Could hear everything from other rooms, corridors and streets. Bathroom needs to be renovated and the facilities were basic. Walls appear to be paper thin.

  Do not book with them. They will take the money from your account and not provide any confirmation or receipt of payment. Communication is limited and ignored when you ask for evidence they took payment as it was not reflecting on bookings.com that payments were made. We protected ourselves before travelling all the way to Barcelona and after reading recent reviews (we booked 12 months ago) on them being a scam and cancelled our booking. We contacted bookings.com for a full refund.

  Never in a million years contribute to these people in their scam

  If this was the last place on earth to stay in, don't do it. My son in law and his friend stayed here. They booked the room for two nights, clearly hearing the lady confirm it was for two nights. Paid for it and didn't get a receipt. The next morning they were woken up and kicked out of the room saying they paid for one night only. They didn't have the receipt to prove otherwise. In order to avoid further trouble, they left, but this is not the way to treat guests!!!

  More Pension than a hotel

  First off, all listings for the "hotel" mention a "cafe" and some mention "room service". But this hotel has not had any food service " since Covid" and has no interest in changing that.The overall level of decor is truly pension grade at best. Some of the shower curtain clips were broken, leaving 20% of the curtain unattached, with stains which looked like mold. Shower rod was hand painted with chipping paint. Wood rot (years old) unattended to in the bathroom door frame.Security of the most minimal kind was non-existent. As we returned to the hotel, after being out for at least 6 hours, we just asked for our key by room number. A clerk who had never seen us, just handed us the key and never even verified our name. Guess any good thief could just pick a room number and chance an opportunity to ransack any room.Hotelbed/Bedsonline lists this hotel at 3 stars, which I would consider a fraud of the hotel not the listing site. As we departed, after a 2 night stay, and turned in our door key, the clerk at the front desk did not even look up to stay goodbye, as we left our key on the counter.
