    Keys for apartment over 1 hour walk away

    Absolutely positively DO NOT USE Cosmo Apartments if you choose to stay in BarcelonaWe booked our apartment in central Barcelona and were astonished to find out that we had to collect keys from an office building that was over 1 hours walk from the apartment This is an extremely rude way to treat your guests So we eventually had to pay. 10 euro taxi fare there and back to collect the keysWasted over an hour and a half getting keysSo if you are an elderly traveller, have kids or had a long flight , do not use Cosmo as the hassle of collecting keys from a secondary location is a real dragThis should not be allowed under booking.com rulesIt’s just not fair to ask a tired traveller to be carrying all their luggage and Collect keys far far away from the apartmentHow hard is it to leave keys in a Dropbox and supply a code ?????     Staying wasn’t pleasant

    To be honest the rooms were far from clean, during the entire stay, no one came to clean them in addition the garbage wasn’t removed from room despite the request (we stayed for 5 days). Also we didn’t receive enough bedding and we had to ask about it several times until it finally came.     Good location and good for families.

    We had a 2 bedroom unit at the rear of hotel. We liked the location, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The unit was well equipped. We liked the decor. Though we found the bathroom a bit small and water would come out as there was no door to shower. There were some light fixtures that did not appear to work. Aside these minor flaws, we enjoyed our stay.     Excellent well connected location. Duplex apartment was fun and very clean with all the facilities needed for a very comfortable short stay to explore Barcelona. Great for all the family.     My son had a medical issue and we had to cancel our trip. Everything was fully booked.Singapore Airlines refunded the plane tickets immediately and all the hotels in our route (San Gil Plaza in Zamora, Castillo Ayud en Calatayud) were very sympathetic and proceed with cancellations without charges right away. Unfortunately, and even though our stay was more than a month away, Cosmo not only refused via booking.com but also provided no answer to my emails.Maybe be good, maybe bad accommodation, but from a service stand point, they suck.
