  Air conditioner not working.Too much noise. Coffee machine nit working.Towels were torn. Literally there were holes on the towel.

  my partner and I came to dalia ramblas for 3 nights, it was my partner’s birthday the second day we were there. we checked in at 2pm and were given a set of keys for our room door, however the keys wouldn’t work so after having to go up and down twice the receptionist said he’d look into it and the cleaner had to let us in. we had been at sonar festival prior to arriving, so we were extremely tired and just wanted to watch some tv and sleep before dinner, but they didn’t fix the door for two hours and we didn’t want to fall asleep as we knew they were going to knock, so we just sat and waited tired with nothing to do. during this time we could not connect to the wifi to get the tv to work in our room (406) as apparently the internet doesn’t reach far enough. the receptionist said they would restart the routers and get it working, but we came back from dinner later on to find it still wasn’t working (the connection stopped in the hallway outside), and were told we could switch rooms the next day. so, the first night, when we wanted to watch tv we had to on a phone. the second day we were told we could switch rooms, however we needed to check out at 11am and check back in at 2pm, meaning we didn’t have access to a room for 3 hours and had to be out while they stored our luggage. when we checked back in, the room we had been given was much nicer and the internet worked, which was a positive. we thought the drama was over, but on the final night there was a powercut throughout the entire hotel, which is no fault of the hotel of course, however it stopped our phones from charging and we had to travel back to london the next day with low battery. all in all, it was not an enjoyable experience and we have emailed to request some sort of refund to compensate us for our trouble, as that stay was not worth the money, but we haven’t received any replies.

  Location, location, location!

  What a hidden gem! We travelled as a couple to Barcelona last week and as my partner is a smoker, I was looking for a hotel offering outdoor space with the room. We booked the suite which is on the 5th floor and basically the penthouse as it's the only room up there. We had a great terrace with seating and plenty of space. The room was massive with a large corner sofa and was extremely clean. The towels and bedding were all brand new.The reception area is modern and the receptionists are absolutely wonderful, so helpful and friendly. There's no restaurant but the location of this hotel is key - half way up las ramblas, close to a metro stop, and surrounded by lovely restaurants and cafes. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - great value for money and we cannot wait to stay again the next time we are in Barcelona. Thank you team Dalia!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Dalia Ramblas. Good size room, friendly helpful staff and great a central location. What more could you ask for at a very competitive price. Would recommend to others when visiting Barcelona and if we return will go back.

  Great location and fantastic helpful staff, always eager to help and give adviceRooms are basic but modern and clean, aircon works wellPlenty of restaurants and bars easy walk from there and most tourist places are within walking distance too.Metro and bus stop a minute walk away
