Very clean comfortable room. Nice and quiet, our room was away from the road. Only a short walk to the train lines and buses. Reasonable price. All members of staff were helpful & friendly.

    Great For The Location

    rating18 Aug 2025

I was apprehensive about booking a budget hotel in a City I did not know, but I need not have worried. The location was excellent, 25 metres from a metro station with connections to the centre of Barcelona. The area surrounding it was safe with plenty of bars and restaurants and a big shopping mall opposite the hotel. The hotel was clean with friendly staff and had a nice bar attached to it selling drinks and bar meals etc.The rooms were small but adequate, no real wardrobe space but a contraption on the wall with detachable hangers, so adequate for a 3 night stay. All in all I would recommend this if you want to do Barcelona on a budget and want a place that has good transport links right outside the door of the hotel. Serious Incident at Your Hotel on July 29

    rating31 Jul 2025

I’m still recovering as I write this — from a heatstroke, a panic attack, and the way I was treated at this hotel. When I arrived on the afternoon of July 29, I was already unwell and needed to rest and cool down. But the room was hot, and the air conditioning wasn’t working. I asked reception if the AC was functioning. The woman on duty told me yes, went backstage, and said it had been switched on. But nothing changed. The remote showed 19°C, yet there was no air, no fan, and no cooling. What I later found out is that the AC is centrally switched off daily from around 9 a.m. to 5 or 6 p.m., but this is not clearly communicated to guests. Instead, the in-room controller makes it seem like everything is working when it’s not.As I felt worse, I returned to reception multiple times — even though I could barely walk. There’s no phone in the room, so I had to go there in person while struggling with weakness and heart symptoms. I clearly told them, “I feel bad. My heart is jumping out. I might need to call an ambulance.”The male receptionist who was on duty after 4 p.m. on July 29 looked me in the eyes and said, “It’s not an emergency.” When I repeated how serious it was, he said, “Call an ambulance if you want,” and later added, “If you don’t like it, you can change the hotel.” He was extremely rude and completely unprofessional. No one came to check the room. No one asked how I was. I wasn’t offered water, help, or even a basic first aid kit. I was clearly unwell, stuttering and struggling to speak, and they stood there doing nothing.I was alone, in a vulnerable state, in a foreign country — and I was ignored. Only at 11:40 p.m. did a different receptionist come to the room, open the window, and admit the room was very hot. But by then, I had already suffered a panic attack and was completely drained. This wasn’t just a service issue — it was a serious failure of basic human responsibility. Jordi Vilella, General Manager at Easyhotel Barcelona Fira, responded to this review Dear Ilona,First of all, we apologize for the incident you experienced during your stay.As you mentioned, due to our commitment to the environment and our "Low Carbon" policy, which you can find on our website, the air conditioners are turned off every hour from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This way, we avoid having the air conditioners on unnecessarily. If someone is in the room, simply turn them back on. We usually explain this at reception, and it's also explained in the room on a sign above the temperature regulator. We regret the feeling of neglect you felt due to the treatment from our team. It's not something that happens often. If you look at the reviews, the staff is the highest-rated part of our hotel, and we are very proud of that. In any case, everything can be improved, and we will continue to train ourselves to offer even better service. We apologize again and hope to regain your trust to show you that we are capable of meeting your expectations.Best regards,Jordi

    Weekend Getaway

    rating26 Apr 2025

Great hotel for what we paid for! Came with a group of friends as some of us were competing in a fitness competition! Beds were comfy however pillows were not great. Not a good night sleep and there unfortunately were no spare pillows even after asking! The other let down for us was the lack of hot water on an evening and early morning! Hotel in a great location, near to the airport, close to public transport and plenty of places to eat and drink near by! Would stay again but potentially bring our own pillow! Jordi Vilella, Director General at Easyhotel Barcelona Fira, responded to this review Dear Brad,Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking your time to leave us a review. We are sorry to hear that the pillows did not meet your expectations. We totally appreciate that pillow comfort can be subjective and to fulfil our brand promise of providing a great nights sleep, our pillows are procured from several well-known industry standard brands.Regarding the hot water issue, we are sorry for the inconvenience and we will check with the maintenance team. We always thrive to provide the best service for you and appreciate your feedback. We hope to see you again soon in any one of our locations across Europe.Team easyHotel Barcelona
