Location

The hotel is located 3 minutes' walk from Plaza España, Fira de Barcelona and Montjuïc, and 15 minutes' walk to the city centre (Plaza Universitat) and to Barcelona Sants, the main train station with international and national junctions. Barcelona El Prat de Llobregat Airport is approximately 10 km away.

Facility

The holiday apartments were built in 1900. The apartment hotel has 29 apartments, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. A baggage storage service, a safe, medical assistance, a transfer service, a conference room, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Services include a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms

The rooms have a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom, as well as air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available.     The apartment was just perfect for our family ( 2 adults and 2 children age 13 and 10) holiday in Barcelona. The location is perfect , I a Main Street , convenient but not so busy . Separate bedrooms , has all the essential daily living equipment including watching machines and fully equipped kitchen , coffee machines,fridge and freezer … Although we ate out most of the time , having these things were so convenient for two growing boys who were alway hungry 😋 The front desk reception Katerna was very nice indeed . She speaks good English which made our check in easier ! Overall we were very happy , didn’t give 5 star purely because 4th night we didn’t sleep well as clients upstairs kept us awake most of the night . That have chained hotel in different cities, like Madrid , Copenhagen, and Amsterdam I would definitely recommend it to the family! Myself certainly will use it again during a short stay in Amsterdam .

    Nice Place - Unreliable Elevator!

    Our small apartment was very nice, with a view out onto a quiet back courtyard. The attendants at the desk were just a joy. They were kind, helpful and took their tie to ensure that each guest had what they needed.Big problem though: the elevator is temperamental. It is an older framework with a somewhat modern (tiny!!) elevator set inside the metal cage. If someone exits the elevator and does *not* shut the door firmly, then the elevator is stuck on that floor for the rest of the night. There are 8 floors. The desk clerks leave at 5 pm and don't return until 9 am. During our stay, every 2-3 days, the elevator would not be working at night. We were on the fifth floor (US 6th floor). The second time it happened, I called their night number and was brusquely told that the elevator wasn't broken; the door was open on one of the floors. My problem, not theirs. That was all the help that was offered. When I talked to the desk clerks the next day, they admitted that this is an on-going problem (which seemingly the management is not interested in fixing). Part of their job responsibilities include running up the stairs multiple times a day to close the elevator doors. The night time solution is for guests to hike up the stairs (up to 9 floors) to their rooms.So, nice place to stay - just be prepared to walk up to your room if you come back after 5 pm.
