Location

The hotel is located in the commercial, historical and artistic centre, next to the Gran Teatre del Liceo Theatre and less than 1 minute's walk from Las Ramblas Promenade. Stores, restaurants, museums, leisure areas and easy access to public transport can be found nearby. It is close to the La Boquería Market, the Plaza Catalunya Square, the Colón Promenade, the MACBA, the Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter. The sea is easily reached with a 1-km walk.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1865. The hotel has a lift and features 83 double rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     A group of 30 of us had been to see the new production of Petit Liceu Jazz Nutcracker. I’d booked here for drinks and tapas. We were supposed to be on the Alaire roof terrace, but we were told it was being remodelled so we ended up in the Sirens Room.Good food and drink and stunning Spanish art nouveau decoration.     We stayed in this hotel to celebrate my father's birthday and we were so amazed since the moment we arrived. The hotel is very beautiful and very well decorated. The rooms are a bit small but very modern. The breakfast offers a wide selection and the breakfast staff are so nice and welcoming.
