Location

The hotel is located just across the road from the beach and the harbour is only a few minutes’ walk (about 50-100 metres away). Plenty of shopping venues, restaurants and bars are all found in the hotel’s immediate vicinity (within a radius of about 500 metres). The nearest public transport links are just a stone's throw from the hotel (approximately 50 metres).

Facility

The holiday village has 10 suites and 105 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units have a sea view. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a refrigerator included among the standard features.     The location was okay for the price, a little far out from the centre but easy to rent mopeds and bikes to get around the city. The bed was comfortable and the view was nice, the mini fridge and toothbrushes/cups provided in the bathroom were handy.The breakfast was poor. Strange selection of food. lots of cakes, doughnuts and puddings. Very small plates and no cutlery, had to ask members of staff for knives and forks every time. The spread dispensers did not work and food was not being regularly replenished, so the selection was very limited at times. Our bedroom was dirty and dusty and there were old hairs in the corners of the room. the bathroom sink unit was covered in stains making it look constantly dirty. The bathroom mirror had toothpaste marks left from the previous guests. There was an awful smell of urine and drains coming from the toilet or bidet. The bathroom got extremely steamy after only a short shower so the door had to be left open as there was no ventilation. Water from the shower often escaped the tray and into the bathroom floor making it extremely slippy and wet.The room was extremely warm at times, at one point we discovered our ac had been set to 27 degrees with no way to cool it down apart from opening the windows. I had specified the occasion for our trip and hoped that some efforts would have been made to make our stay special or at least acknowledge our occasion but was left disappointed. I would not stay here again, it did not feel like good value for the money I spent.

    Many services on website they currently do not offer to include gym. Poor service at hotel. Do not recommend.

    We had a great stay. The breakfast was well varied, including fresh fruit.The location itself, you are a 10 minute walk from the beach but also from the metro.This makes accessing the city and beach pretty easy.The rooftop pool is not super big but quite enjoyable as not too many residents were using it.

    I gave it a 3 rating solely because of the high price per night. The hotel is located in a building and is not at all glamorous, and the location is not in the center. If the price per night was lower, it would have received a higher rating. I have stayed in similar hotels for much less.The breakfast is good, there is something for everyone. The only thing is that the juices are not natural, but it seems that they are. The beach is across the road. If you are going to go straight to the first beach, don't be surprised because it is nudist, but there is also a regular beach right next to it, and the sea is great.I asked the reception three times to fix the shower gel tube in the bathroom. It was not fixed during the entire 4 nights I spent at the hotel. Water leaked above the shower whenever someone above my room took a shower. Disaster!The terrace on the 6th floor is nice. But the pool is shallow and small and not at all suitable for swimming. The elevator is terrible. There are two elevators. One was almost always broken, and the other smelled of sweat and food. When you pressed the floor of the room, the elevator would open the doors several times on its own instead of starting and only then would it start.There is a night bus to the hotel, the stop is a few minutes away, and during the day I used the metro to the city, the stop is about a 10-minute walk away. There are several stops to the center. You can also walk along the promenade along the sea to Barceloneta beach, it will take you about an hour.The Poblenau neighborhood where the hotel is located is affordable in terms of food and drink prices. It is cheaper than in the center or by the beach.All in all - I would not return to this hotel. Not at this price.

    Of the two lifts, one lift doesn’t work. Staff is very unhelpful. Even coffee not available- staff makes you just go up and down from roof top to the reception with no lift. Completely unlike a 4 star hotel. Services need significant improvement.
