This luxury hotel is located at the heart of Barcelona, just 10 min from the cultural and historical centre of the city, from Las Ramblas and Plaza de Cataluña. Links to the public transport network are to be found just 300 m from the hotel and the sea and beach are a short distance away. Shopping venues, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are to be found in a 1 km radius of the hotel.

Facility

47 suites and 235 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent.     I had such a great experience at the Eurostars Grand Marina. The location couldn’t have been more ideal, right by the water, close to everything, and perfect for exploring the city. The staff made the stay even better. Everyone was warm and helpful, and I especially want to mention Mariona, who gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation that ended up being our favorite meal of the trip.Our room was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, and the view was absolutely amazing. This was my secind visit and I woudl highly recommend.Overall, it was a fantastic stay and a place I’d happily return to for a third time.

    We booked a hotel for six adults.* Check-in took over 30 minutes* The rooms were not ready upon arrival* Beds were prepared for only four people, and we were told that two could sleep on the sofa* The rooms were dirty, and there were not enough towels for everyoneWe asked if we could change rooms, but this was not allowed.We then suggested canceling the reservation with a full refund, but this was also refused.This is absolutely NOT a five-star hotel. A realistic rating would be 3/5. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.

    Nice Hotel, Off The Beaten Path, but Great for a Pre- or Post-Cruise Stay

    The hotel itself is very nice with well-appointed, spacious rooms by European standards and professional service. But it's in a "weird" location somewhat isolated from the rest of the city, about a 15-20 minute walk from anything worthwhile. That said, it is an ideal location to begin or end a cruise--indeed, it's the only hotel you can get to directly using the 3 EUR "Blue Bus" from the cruise ships, which is a huge plus.Here's the bottom line: If proximity to the cruise terminal is a paramount consideration, stay here. If you plan on walking a lot and don't mind crossing 15-20 minutes of "desert" to get to anything, you'll be fine. If you plan on cabbing it around town, it's also a great place because it's centrally located and there is a cab rank right outside that always has cabs lined up. But if you're the kind of person who likes to walk outside and immediately "be" in the middle of the city, stay elsewhere.
