  Good hotel

  Comfortable hotel, clean,  large and comfortable bedroom and bed.  Private bathroom with bidet (we appreciated).  Rich breakfast with a great choice both sweet and savory (continental).Staff professional and friendly.  Quiet location, nearby metro station. Unfortunately there are no acceptable bars and restaurants in the surrounding area.  It is a residential area only.

  Amazing Stay

  I had a nice stay at the hotel. The room was good, I liked it. The service was excellent. At the checki-in I had three nicest experience and probably the nicest person at the reception. The lady was really nice and helpful. Room service kept the room clean every single day of my 7 nights stay. The breakfast was good and had a variety of choices. The location of the hotel is also perfect connecting it to the airport, the seaside and most of the attractions in the city.

  "Unpleasant Stay: Unfriendly Staff, Inadequate AC, and Laptop Incident"

  The staff was extremely unfriendly throughout our stay. The air conditioning was in poor condition, leading to an uncomfortable and unpleasantly warm night. To exacerbate the situation, the receptionist informed us that she couldn't assist us. To make matters worse, an unfortunate incident occurred when a member of the staff allegedly stole our laptop. When I brought this incident to the attention of the staff, they initially claimed that nothing could be done since the manager was absent that day. The following day, I received a call from the hotel informing me that they found nothing unusual on the security footage. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the managers, explaining that I had not requested cleaning services the previous day. However, the security footage showed someone entering the room. I emphasized that this should not have occurred as I had not requested any service. Despite my concerns, the manager insisted that the staff member was innocent of theft.

  Not so much good conditions

  I arrive after trying to park on the street that are very difficult. Receptionist was quite efficient on checking and when arrive the room I discover roof of bathroom was chipped. Take a shower and water was not so much it means not allow to take a confortable.Room was clean but not perfectly clean.I assume that it is not a 3 start hotel

  I was a bit worried about staying here having read some of the previous reviews but the reason I’m leaving a review now is to reassure anyone who may be apprehensive and is looking for an affordable hotel just to get your head down in the evenings.The room and lobby area were both spotlessly clean, the housekeeping staff were lovely, the bath was great too which was definitely needed after lots of walking around Barcelona! The location was perfect for me: area safe for a solo female traveller, near lots of little shops and bakeries and literally steps away from a metro station with a quick connection to everywhere you would want to go but also still walking distance from the Diagonal/Gràcia areas (I walked 50 minutes to La Rambla but it didn’t feel like that long at all because there’s so much to see and do on the way - definitely recommend that walk if you enjoy exploring on foot).The only con I have is that the heating smelt like farts... but I didn’t actually need the heating on really, the room wasn’t cold, I just thought I might be chilly getting out of the shower (I wasn’t).Thank you Exe Mitre!
